The U.S. 10-year yield has broken below a head-and-shoulders chart pattern.
It briefly dropped to the lower 1.50s, but has recovered with a self-correcting rebound move.
However, the 1.60 level that acted as the neck remains a resistance, so the upside remains heavy as ever.
With the decline in long-term rates, the dollar has also been under pressure; occasional buying occurs but does not sustain and is pushed back down.
