One of the important studies pursued by former technical analysts and prognosticators is to identify past market patterns that resemble the current market. As a financial market timing analyst, one step further is taken to seek additional correlations between the market cycles and geocosmic factors of the era and the present market.
What I focus on is the 35–40% decline that occurred in a single month from mid-February to late March 2020 across the world’s stock markets, led by the United States. The decline implies that the low observed during March 16–23 was the bottom of a long-term cycle—so, when was the last time a long-term cycle from peak to trough ended in such a short period (about one month)? And how did the market move afterward? Furthermore, was there a geocosmic correlation between that period and the present?
The answer is, surprisingly, "YES."
