Does Zone Trade even have any basis in the first place? I tried to verify it ♪【explanatory images included】

Hello. This is Nakai from fx-on!
Summer is already here, isn’t it?
From the article I wrote before (Aim for 1400 pips!! Read the entire Trade Rule Book 'Definition of the Wave'), it’s already been five months!?
And summer, as they say, brings to mind the singer “ZONE”!
When I was in elementary school, I remember crying while watching ZONE’s breakup live on the TV show “Music Station” (Mステ) .

Zone Trade Verification Start!!
The reason I decided to verify this time is that, even though the mechanism of “Zone Trading” can be understood, actually drawing zones yourself is surprisingly difficult.
So I thought, “Is there a common point between a zone and the buy/sell volume?”
And if we could find that common point, wouldn’t anyone be able to draw zones easily and use those zones to trade with an edge!?
So I went ahead and verified it right away!
Verification Environment
| Currency pair | USD/JPY |
| Timeframe | 4 hours |
| Measurement period | 60 days |
Note: This did not actually take 60 days to measure in real time
Verification Procedure
- Refer to the items below in the report and draw zones on the positions you think are zones
・Chapter 2 ~Where to draw the Zone~
・Chapter 3 ~Timing to draw the Zone~
- Using the key points when drawing the zone, use an indicator to determine the period and price to display “buy/sell volume”.
- Decide the histogram for price ranges near the drawn zone. (This time, black circles 1,2,3,4)
- Use a ruler and calculator to determine the ratio of histogram lengths ← this part is analog w
So, the sequence above is summarized here!!

Note: The order isn’t too clear, but it follows (1)→(2)→(3)→(4).
When I actually measured the histogram lengths for the price ranges where zones were drawn, it indeed showed a higher buying volume.
In particular, black circle 4 shows especially high buying volume.
As above, it was confirmed that there is a difference in buy/sell volume at the drawn zone.
Now all that remains is to check the results!!
(Ta-da☆)

What do you think!?
Indeed, when the chart reached the price range of black circle 4, where the ratio difference was the widest, the candlesticks were range-bound.
As of writing this article, I hadn’t confirmed a range up to black circle 2, but a selling momentum is expected to be waiting.
Conclusion
This time, I judged that the zones drawn in the Zone Trading Method Report ‘ZONE’ written by “Living by the Expected Value” are effective!! ^^
(Due to time constraints, this is the only verification result I can present this time, please understand)
Trading Methods Using Zones
Many of you who have read this far probably think:
“Isn’t this actually just a ‘horizontal line’? Then how do you actually use the ‘zone’?”
From this verification, I have developed “Nakai-Style Zone Trading Method”!!!
Here it is
↓↓↓https://fx-on.com/up/zone_tradinview6.jpg">
Remarkably, you wait 40 days to gain 20 pips! It’s dizzying… lol
Also, the biggest mistake in this verification was using the 4-hour timeframe m(__)m
I usually trade the 4-hour timeframe leisurely, so this time as well... sorry to day traders and scalpers.
However, Zone Trading can be used on any timeframe.
If you use it on a 1-minute to 1-hour chart, it seems like trades will take seconds, minutes, or hours (<(`^´)>)
Zone Trading Method (Living by the Expected Value style)
Don’t worry.(I’m serious)
Properly, the report written by “Living by the Expected Value” includes several post-zone trading methods as well!
I’m sorry I can’t include all of it, but I’ll attach some sample images.

【PR】The Zone Trading Method Report ‘ZONE’ in the Living by the Expected Value style
Yes. If you’ve read this far, you probably already realize that this article is a promotional piece ヽ(^o^)丿
This time on our site fx-on, the popular bloggerLiving by the Expected Value has agreed to release in advance an fx-on exclusive edition that compiles the Zone trades they actually use in their own trading, titled ‘ZONE’ZONE for fx-on members only!

‘ZONE’
My Impressions After Reading and Verifying ‘ZONE’
These are my personal impressions, but
After reading ‘ZONE’, my view of the market has changed quite a bit.
Specifically,
- At what price
- Who is involved
- With what mindset
Are you holding a position
This helps me imagine the market flow and trading more clearly than before.
Until now I used to trade thinking “a signal appeared! Now is the time to enter!”
Finally
1. For those who still don’t know Zone Trading
Among the many Zone-type reports out there, this is by far the most highly recommended. Reasons include:
- It explains from the principles of zones to how to trade with zones, with abundant diagrams
- There is no wasted explanation; you can understand Zone trading fairly quickly
- Bloghas many free videos for easy review
These are the key points.
2. For readers of the blog “Living by the Expected Value”
This becomes a must-have for review.
Daily blogs and videos are easy to understand, but having a structured format like this makes it easier to incorporate into your own method.
3. For those who already own Zone concepts
The latter part of the report’s “How to use the Zone” has the author’s original touch, and is worth reading.
Please consider incorporating it into your own Zone Trading approach^^
