Hello, this is Tomoaki.
Last week, gold rose in a good shape. First, I would like to review last week.
3/15
Monday
US stock prices are rising gradually. This is pre-purchase due to Biden administration's $1.9 trillion large-scale economic policy decision.
Major US stock indices all rose.
The S&P 500 closed at a new high. It has risen more than 50% in the past year.
Amazing, isn’t it?
U.S. stocks are likely to continue rising.
There are no major moves in the exchange rate.
Considering a slightly stronger dollar, it seems there is dollar buying from various countries due to stock gains.
During quantitative easing, the dollar tends to weaken, so waiting and watching is prudent.
Oil has fallen.
It seems to be the selling to settle after the previous rise.
Oil tends to continue once a trend starts, and seasonally, early year tends to rise, so it might be better to view it with a bullish perspective.
Although it hit a new high
there wasn’t much movement otherwise.
