In the Toyo Keizai ONLINE column: What kind of people keep making profits?
Good morning, this is Matsushita.
I have been teaching investing for over 12 years,
and among my students, there are many who have continued to profit for over 5 years.
There are many who are still making profits.
So what kind of investors are those who keep making profits?
They are the type of investors who
“understand what they are doing.”“They deepen their understanding day by day, year by year.”
In the stock market, the FX market, price movements, trends,
cycles, buying and selling or trading, capital management,
volume, anything is fine,
they understand what they are watching and using,
and
continue to deepen what they do,
and that is why they keep making profits.
The characteristics of these people are
that they never envy others’ profits or trades.
The trades they execute are
their own,
and if it suits them within their means,
they strive to improve it, but
they never envy others.
They love their own trading and take pride in their profits.
Such people will continue to profit for five or ten years.
When you look around, investors who cannot profit
envy those who are profiting,
and chase after them.
However, this vector is pointing in the wrong direction.
What you should look at is not outside yourself,
but inside yourself.
If there are no investors around you who are profiting,
I have seen many investors who continue to profit,
so this is the truth.
What you are doing,
the markets and price movements you watch,
the technical indicators you use, and
the fundamental indicators,
let’s deepen your understanding.
“I’m finally starting to understand.”
When you reach a state like this,
you will start to see profits rise.
