■Backtest drawdown risk
In a backtest from 2005 to 2017 with a fixed 0.1 lot,
Maximum drawdown ¥77,834
and about 778 pips.
Although the parameter stop loss is 49 pips, by design the stop loss may reach the most recent two days’ high (low).
the maximum loss per trade was about ¥18,000 and about 180 pips.

There are also compounding settings, and the MM% is
the percentage of free margin allocated to the lot.
What you need to be careful about here are high-leverage accounts.
With 25x leverage, for example, on a 1,000,000 yen account you would allocate 400,000 yen to the position,
which is about 1.0 lot
but,
with 100x leverage you would hold 4.0 lots (4x larger), so profits are larger but
losses are also larger, making it hard to maintain the margin and leading to forced liquidation.
Be sure to check your account leverage and lot size in backtests before setting the MM%
