This is an explanation from when I actually entered in the morning of 1/27.
USDCAD 5-minute chart.
The 5-minute and 15-minute images were taken in real time while I was waiting for the pullback.
I hadn’t taken an hourly image, so the section with the blue vertical line is from a later image.
You can wait for kind-box to appear, which helps prevent premature entries.

The price rose from about the same low as the previous hour and confirmed by breaking above the DMA 3×3 line.
Since it crossed above the 34 EMA on the 15-minute chart, there is nothing left to do but wait.
The up-kind-box appeared immediately.
The retracement candles were right at the 38.2 line and produced a guaranteed signal, confirming the rise, so I entered.
It fell a little after that, but then moved upward.
Stop loss was set around the low, about 15 pips.



The images below are the settlement images for 15 minutes and 60 minutes.
15 minutes is the 200 MA, 60 minutes is the lower edge of the down-kind-box at the 38.2 line (as planned)
I settled based on the rebound seen above.


This time followed the standard kind-box method.
There was about 23 pips of profit.
Considering it’s a 5-minute chart, I think it was a good trade.
