Today’s USDJPY Forecast: Constructing a scenario for USDJPY price movement
Looking at the chart pattern, in the ultra-short term the upside could move to around 111.400–450, and the downside to around 111.050–111.000, after which it may range, and depending on the breakout direction there could be significant price movement.＜Posted 2017.06.25 09:45＞
● Scenario 1
If it breaks above 111.340, it will rise to around 111.400–111.450, then pull back to around 111.380–111.350, and after breaking above the previous high at that time, rise to around 111.480–111.500. If it cannot break above the previous high, it may drop again to around 111.200. After rising to around 111.480–111.500, the range may consolidate or adjust; if the 60-minute close breaks above the 111.480 support/resistance, it could extend to around 111.750.
● Scenario 2
If it breaks below 111.140, it will fall to around 111.050–110.950, then range between 110.950–111.150; if it breaks below that range, there is a possibility of falling to around 111.600–111.700.
