"Mr. Matsushita is a prophet," they said.
Good morning, this is Matsushita.
At the seminar held the other day,
one participant told me,
“Mr. Matsushita, you are a prophet.”
When I asked the reason,
that person had attended my seminar around June 2015 as well, and at that time
said the following.
It seems he said,
“Right now, the stock market is in an upward trend,
stock investors are feeling good and are exuberant,
but after this, you will lose it all.”
Back then, I thought, “What a thing to say,”
but subsequently, concerns about China and
the slowdown in emerging markets and the drop in crude oil occurred,
and the domestic stock market began a near-year-long decline,
and apparently profits were really wiped out.
“At that time, Mr. Matsushita said,
and the market followed exactly as you predicted.
You are a prophet.”
That was the words of the person.
In the market, after a strong rally,
some form of bearish drop comes.
The stronger the bullish sentiment among market participants,
the bigger the ensuing bearish reaction will be as a counter-move.
When investors see the market rising and capital increasing,
they become bullish and their egos grow.
If at this point you do not realize that the bearish signs are starting to appear,
you may hold onto capital with a bullish stance, or become even more bullish and
add more capital, which would then be wiped out by the ensuing bear market,
along with all the profits earned up to then.
I am not a prophet,
but an investor who meticulously checks the history of markets.
If you examine market history in detail,
what I wrote above will be repeated many times,
and you can some extent understand what will happen next.
To grow your funds through this,
that is what a true investor does.
Please also carefully compare the past markets with the current market.
You will be able to understand what will happen next.
You will know what is going to happen from now on.
