【Harvests Signal】Signal Summary for the Week of 2020/11/28
★ Trend-following detection strength: 15-minute chart trend-followingEURUSD
All signals except the last one turned positive. When you ride the trend, it yields excellent results.
The last signal also ends up positive if you hold on, but it’s a bit iffy.
USDJPY
Most signals have turned positive.
Especially the early Friday morning drop where a signal appeared is highly valued.
GBPUSD
There were many false signals.
However, as noted in the included documentation, it was possible to avoid them by selecting signals with discretionary methods.
EURJPY
It’s disappointing that the midweek signals turned into false ones.
Nevertheless, if you had defined the starting points of the trend with discretionary methods, you could have avoided it.
GBPJPY
This week's signals had the worst accuracy.
Signals that actually followed through were mostly counter-trend, so there was no opportunity to ride them, and signals did not appear where you would want them.
Sometimes they don’t align. There’s nothing to be done about that.
CHFJPY
Similar to GBP/JPY, growing signals tended to be counter-trend, so you likely couldn’t ride them.
Only the first signal after the week started stretched well, but…
USDCHF
In the first half of the week it was range-bound, but there were reasonably extending signals.
In the second half as well, there were signals that remained positive, but it was a bit hard to ride.
EURCHF
Unfortunately, the signals in the first half were crushed.
In the latter half there were somewhat decent signals.
Considering the logic (not disclosed), it’s natural that when volatility rises, the signal accuracy improves.
Including volatility in the filter might be good too.
GBPCHF
It was a week with mostly unimpressive signals, so I couldn’t ride them…
EURGBP
With low volatility, there were many signals that turned positive, I think.
Usually they all turn out to be false signals, so it’s a bit tough.
The last signal of the week was superb, though.
