How to tell a good EA from Cat Doctor

Currently, many EAs are being sold,
What do you think constitutes a good EA (an EA that will rise in the real market from now on)?
It may vary from person to person, but
in my case,
1. Trust in the basic logic
2. Proof that curve fitting is low
3. Real forward
4. Backtest
in that order, I often feel that I judge the performance of an EA.
(In fact, even the EAs I sell are designed with emphasis on elements 1 and 2)
Looking around, fairly many people focus on
“3. Real forward”
I think, but
no matter how good the real-forward results are, if 1 and 2 are not solid,
in the long run, the EA will soon stop functioning
that pattern is quite common, I feel.
Even EAs that were popular in the past,
initially performed well,
then suddenly their performance deteriorated and became unusable.
Many of you may have seen patterns like this.
For this pattern, the EA is often
an EA whose “1 or 2 elements” are not very good (i.e., a strategy with low edge and a high degree of curve fitting).
When choosing an EA or monitoring its real operation,
if you look at it this way,
you may be able to assess the EA’s future prospects a bit differently.
