"A column is being published on Toyo Keizai Online" The reason you can't make a profit is...
Good morning, this is Matsushita.
Yesterday, at a seminar held in Shinjuku, Tokyo,
for a full six hours, I taught individual stock investors
a new investment theory.
Despite the long duration of the seminar,
as always, everyone listened attentively
and engaged with it.
To the participants yesterday,
when asked whether they have been making profits since they started investing
or have been incurring losses, the answer was, as expected,
only about 20% were making a profit.
This figure always settles at around this level;
it seems the barrier to profits is quite high.
One reason for this is that
they themselves have never made a profit,
and there are no investors around them who are profitable,
so they do not know the real picture of profitable investing,
in reality.
“I want to make a profit.”
“I envy those who are making a profit.”
They think that,
but it is almost a fantasy,
and does not come with substance.
Therefore, the trading they routinely do
drifts far from the actual investing that yields profits.
If you have been suffering losses up to now,
Because there is no one around who is making a profit,
you should not struggle alone;
meet investors who are making profits.
If you participate in my seminar,
at least the speaker, myself, is a profitable investor,
and there are also attendees in the audience who are profitable,
so you will have the opportunity to meet such investors.
When you meet investors who are profitable and hear their stories,
you will understand the true nature of profitable investing.
At the next seminar opportunity,
please also meet investors who are making profits.
