【Correction】
A request to correct the following content that was written on P10 of No.010 Lib work IR担当者へのインタビュー, was received from IR担当の難家氏.
【Correct】
Employees of our company often ask when is the best time to buy our shares; considering that the stock split occurred two times in September, with three split events total, the stock price at the time of listing was 800 yen, thus the listing price was actually 100 yen.
※ The 800-yen price at the time of listing corresponds to the price on the Fukuoka Stock Exchange Q-Board as of August 2015. Since there were three splits (two on the Mothers listing and one after listing on the Q-Board), this equates to 2×2×2 = 8 splits.
【Incorrect】
Employees of our company often ask when is the best time to buy our shares; given that there were two splits by the end of September, the listing price was 800 yen; therefore the listing price should have been 200 yen.
【Point】
1. From the orders status disclosed on Fri 10/2 for the first quarter, the stock price has strengthened, and on Wed 10/21 it reached an intraday high of 2,424 yen, a new all-time high since listing. The mid-term management plan has already reached half of its target market capitalization of 50 billion yen.
2. Attended Lib Work’s investor briefing in Tokyo on Sat 10/17. Heard President Seguchi’s company briefing. In conclusion, Lib Work’s president is running the company with an eye on the future. It was also understood again that they have a clear shareholder-focused stance.
3. Our aim is to become a “house-building platformer,” which means it will not be limited to the design, construction, and sale of custom homes alone. President Seguchi models management after Amazon, and going forward, the company will accelerate its platformer-type business.
4. Recently, it was revealed by President Seguchi that major U.S. investment bank Goldman Sachs holds about 200,000 shares (around 2%) of our stock, highlighting continued attention from overseas institutional investors toward a company aiming to be a house-building platformer.
5. The earnings announcement is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at 11:30. Since custom homes require about six months from order to delivery, first-quarter sales will overlap with the housing sales completed during the state of emergency. Given market participants’ very high expectations, if earnings disappointment leads to selling, it could present an excellent buying opportunity.
