【Harvests Signal】Signals for the Week of 2020/10/17
★ Trend-following detection strength: 15-minute chart trend-followingEURUSD
We were able to capture the edge clearly!
Although one short signal near the top in the uptrend turned into a false alarm, it was avoidable if you paid attention to the angle of the EMA.
GBPUSD
This week we couldn’t capture the edge. We did capture one edge later, but overall it wasn’t ideal for taking the start of a trend.
USDJPY
In the early part of the week with EMA converging, long and short signals were mixed, but from the latter half onward, good signals capturing the edge appeared.
EURJPY
Similar to EURUSD, the early-week long signal had excellent accuracy. Throughout, signals that pulled to the EMA and then signaled had high reliability.
GBPJPY
H4 EMA was close to flat, signals appeared but accuracy was poor. In range-bound conditions, this signal is weak.
CHFJPY
All signals that appeared were profitable this week. Excellent—no complaints.
USDCHF
The early-week short signal was excellent. However, later movements were choppy and did not yield good signals.
EURCHF
A chart full of wicks up and down; signals appeared but all had low accuracy and were hard to ride. It would be better if signals could be avoided in a range-bound market…
GBPCHF
Although edge capture wasn’t very solid, it was good that signals appeared clearly at the highs and lows.
EURGBP
Not great. If you carefully examine the EMA shape and selectively take signals, only the early-week red-circle signals were highly reliable. Either way, the range tendency is somewhat strong, making it tough.
Impressions
This week, many signals managed to capture the peak as well.If you could assess the trend well from the EMA shape, you wouldn’t have lost, and could have won significantly this week.
CHF/JPY being perfect was wonderful to see. It’s rare for all signals to be profitable, so it was a noteworthy occurrence.
