【Harvests Signal】Signals for the Week of 2020/10/10

EURUSD

Because the H4 EMA is sloping upward, the trend direction is long. Since the week started with EMAs converging from M15 to H4, using a long entry after being pulled to the H4 EMA as a strategy, waiting for that signal would have yielded many valid signals.
Signals that deviate from the EMA are ignored.

USDJPY

It was a week with little movement. Even so, after getting pulled to one of the EMAs, the trend-following signals were somewhat okay, but within a range of about 40 pips up and down, especially signals within a tight range under 20 pips tended to be slow.

GBPUSD

Trend-following signals pulled to the M15 EMA had excellent accuracy.
When a currency starts moving in one direction, it tends to have relatively high volatility, so if you ride the signal well, it can be lucrative.

EURJPY

Not many signals appeared, but the H4 EMA trend-following signals were strong.

GBPJPY

This week's GBPJPY signals were not very accurate.
Few signals appeared against the H4 EMA, and short-term signals were mostly contrarian. Disappointing.

USDCHF

Escaped the range. Signals that ride the wave once it starts are tasty.
Since the H4 EMA is sloping downward, if you had selected trend-following short signals against it, there would have been no losses.

GBPCHF

The range is tight.
Within the range, false signals increase. This is because it reacts to minor price movements; if you cannot properly identify the range, the signal value decreases.
This week, since the H4 EMA was almost flat, a no-touch option would have been better. I would like to train myself not to trade during such weeks.

CHFJPY

It was a week of rising trend.
However, signals against the H4 EMA did not appear, and waiting for trend-following long signals after being pulled to the H1 or M15 EMA yielded insufficient price movement.

EURCHF

The range condition is severe.
Like GBPCHF, since the H4 EMA is horizontal, all signals have poor accuracy.

EURGBP

In a range, the false signals are severe. This is still a currency pair to avoid.

Impressions

This was a week where the difference in signal accuracy between currencies in ranges and currencies with a trend became clear.
If you can cleverly select currency pairs with a trend and wait for signals, you could have captured a fair amount this week.
