“Three barriers that hinder profits” currently featured in TOYOKEIZAI ONLINE column
Good morning, this is Matsushita.
Next week, I will be presenting a seminar on
the "Targeting Investment Theory" that I am proposing,
and for that lecture, I reread the book
"The Secrets of Your Money and Investment Brain"
(Nikkei Publishing).
This is my third time doing so,
and the more I read, the more I realize that the reason investors fail lies in how our brains work, and that much is almost unconditional,
and reflexive,
making it clear how miraculous it is that the top 20% of investors win.
This fact becomes understandable.
If you do things normally,
it is natural that you won't win.
The biggest obstacle to winning in investing lies in the "brain,"
for investors, it is the "emotional barrier."
To overcome this biggest barrier,
what you need is "theory."
To win in investing, a certain theory is necessary, and
as in my own actions this time, you can obtain it by reading books,
attending seminars to learn,
and checking charts,
which is possible to obtain.
However, for more than 12 years now,
having guided more than 30,000 investors,
I have painfully realized that people hate to learn.
Most investors are overwhelmingly lacking in knowledge,
and the "theory barrier" exists here.
And finally, theory only becomes effective when it can be practiced.
To practice, you need a "technique."
To learn the technique,
you probably have to learn from predecessors.
There are proven techniques among those who have actually bought and sold and made profits.
However, even here investors try to acquire technique through self-study,
but learning from predecessors is far more reliable and faster.
And yet, investors hate learning and are poor at it.
I learned from predecessors and have achieved this.
Here, the final "technical barrier" rises up.
In this way, the major barriers of "emotional," "theoretical,"
and "technical" barriers block your path,
and profits fade into the distance.
If you are unaware that such barriers exist,
and you do not know how to overcome them,
it is natural that 75% of investors lose.

Which barrier is blocking your path to the goal of profits?
Please recognize the barrier in front of you.
Next, think of how to overcome it,
and continue to take action.
Beyond that, the goal of profits will surely be waiting.
