Investment Daily: Forecasting Beyond That — [Summer 2020 Study Session] Part 1 Web Broadcast
Part I Introduction to Epidemic Cycle — Past, Present, and Future of Various Markets considering a 100-Year Cycle —
Instructor: Makoto Nakahara
Legendary investor W. R. Gann (1878–1955), who survived the Great Depression known as a "turbulent era," established the market analysis method "Gann Theory."
As Japan’s leading expert on this theory, Makoto Nakahara, who has contributed various market analyses to our company including the "Nakahara Sho Report," will make a highly anticipated appearance.
In the midst of the COVID-19 era, Nakahara has focused on the existence of a certain 100-year cycle. It is said to have the potential to become a major turning point for the entire financial market in the future. Its targets include the United States' long-term interest rates and the stock market, and naturally it will greatly influence the near-term market developments.
By understanding the grand framework, we plan to present 90 minutes that reveal multiple smaller insights.
This is a seminar delivered on Wednesday, July 29 at 17:00.
Profile of Makoto Nakahara
Grew up in a trading family; grandfather made his fortune in Sony and mother in Pioneer.
With more than 20 years of market experience, he is a genuine trader known to insiders, and is proficient in the strategies of Larry Williams and Tom DeMark; his techniques are widely recognized.
“Gann Theory” includes many parts that are not freely disclosed in investment methods, and in the United States there are numerous “Gann seminars” that cost several hundreds of thousands of yen just in tuition to acquire the knowledge.
Nakahara is known as one of the few Gann Theory researchers in Japan who attended this seminar. He is also famous for rarely appearing in public.
