Pin Bar
A long wick with a very short body. After significant price movement, the close is near the open, indicating a potential reversal signal.
Reversal High / Reversal Low
A pattern where the body widths of a bullish and bearish candle are similar and adjacent. When combined (converted into one candle), it resembles a Pin Bar, thus interpreted as a reversal signal.
Inside Bar / Outside Bar
Inside means the price range remains within the previous range; Outside means it moves beyond the previous range, both offering potential line breaks to target a breakout.
Ergolphin Bar Buy / Sell
Occurs when the high (or low) of the previous bar is clearly surpassed by the close of the next bar, fully negating the previous price movement, thus interpreted as a reversal signal.
Thrust Up / Thrust Down
A close above the previous high is thrust up; conversely, a close below the previous low is thrust down, symbolizing trend continuation.
