In Economic Times ONLINE Column Published: To make a profit, keep drawing pictures
Good morning, this is Makoto Matsushita.
Every Saturday is the column
Makoto Matsushita's Investment Exploration update day.
Today's theme is, "Drawing."
Achieving success in investing is
quite similar to drawing a picture.
I think you'll find it fairly straightforward.
Please give it a read.

No. 192 "Drawing"
Success in investing is similar to drawing a picture.
To draw, you need to survey the entire canvas,
consider the composition, and draw in a sequence.
When drawing, there is no one who draws aimlessly without thinking.
A balanced picture is completed in that manner.
When you invest, are you approaching it as if you were drawing a picture?
Is the overall composition already in your mind?
Do you understand which part of the whole you are working on?
And do you have an image of the final finished form?
As you consider these questions, you should be able to imagine
what kind of outcome your investment will lead to.
Investing should be treated as a drawing activity.
Whether you succeed or fail when you finish your trades
depends on whether you are drawing, or not.
If you can't see what kind of picture you want to create on the canvas,
or what structure and order you want to depict,
your investment will end in a terrible result.
ps
In investing, I can draw pictures, but
actually drawing pictures is so bad I have trauma
from it.
I also want to be as good at drawing as I am at investing.
