Even if not a military war,

There are various possibilities, but what I’m curious about is,

Which side will Japan take?

Because we have the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty, Japan, of course,[America's side]is on the side of the United States,

but if we don’t ride the winning horse, we’ll have a lot of trouble in the future.

I can’t quite imagine America winning, somehow.
