A trading competition to help investors improve their skills

MKB Cup is a trading competition being held.
There appear to be various investors in discretionary trading and EA trading, and the results of some of them are also published on REAL-TRADE.

Makabe©︎ Nikkei Average and FX @mkb1618's thoughts on the trading competition and EAs are as follows.
I first learned about automated trading not long after starting FX, but around 2010 there was the belief that "automated trading loses." This was because the forex market was strongly driven by fundamentals, including the Fed's monetary easing, extreme yen appreciation, BOJ interventions, euro volatility, and the decline of high-yield currencies.
Nevertheless, there were many traders who mainly relied on technical analysis. FX introductory books and brokerage apps showcased numerous technical analyses, and that continues not only then but also now. However, how many of the technical crowd have built up assets since then? As far as I can tell, most people disappeared from the market (especially the swap traders were wiped out).
My turning point was the MKB Cup Trade Battle, which began in October 2019. This was a spin-off from the FX Strategy.com magazine I write for; originally it was a project titled "How much can you increase 300,000 yen in 3 months?" A total of 39 people participated, and in the end I won, but what surprised me was that nearly 10 of the participants used automated trading (EA). And in the runner-up position, EA trader Kan Tsuppa Samurai delivered results. It was because of his presence that I too became convinced that "there are winning EAs." Nevertheless, the important thing is that most people end up losing.
I started an investment-oriented e-newsletter in 2015 and have been talking about methods and market views. The main focus is fundamentals. I believe that by showing a sense of direction based on fundamentals to FX traders who tend to lean toward technical analysis, survival rates can be improved. I do believe trading is a "struggle to survive," but I hope that people around me will win and be happy. This time, I got involved with EA because I thought "I want to introduce only those that can win." Our cafe leverages the expertise of Kan Tsuppa Samurai, who is deeply knowledgeable about EAs, and with the cooperation of GoGoJungle, we introduce recommended EAs that can be used as-is. We aim to be helpful for everyone from those who have never used EAs to those who already use EAs.
