EA crawler that trades using data such as the Nikkei Stock Average, Dow Jones, position information, key indicators, stock prices / CRAWLER_Lite
An EA that uses no technical indicators at allCrawler / CRAWLER_Litehas appeared.
It crawls online information to determine buy/sell decisions, which is completely different from the logic of the EAs that have been listed on GogoJungle so far.
The Crawlers series has already released two titles that were introduced in an Investment Navi+ article last autumn, with crawling accuracy gradually improving,Crawler / CRAWLER_Lite, and judging by the current results, it seems those efforts are paying off.
According to the developer Zenzai-san, what online information is being retrieved is as follows
1) Changes in the Nikkei 225 and Dow Jones → used for entry and close
2) Analyzing position information and various online information → determine whether shorts or longs are prevailing
3) Retrieval of key indicators → trades aligned from 10 hours before the release; if holding a profitable position, close 90 seconds before.
4) Stock prices → close when there are large movements
These are the main ones.
Using a 15-minute chart, the two currency pairs USD/JPY and GBP/JPY are the targets for trading.
Stop loss is set at 18 pips, and take profit 25–36 pips, which is relatively shallow.
Since the measurement began on December 29, 2019, the results are as shown in the image below, and each data point can be considered reasonably excellent.
Looking at the performance of the crawler series released last autumn as explained at the outset,
Neither CRAWLER_U nor CRAWLER_G has managed to end with an overall net positive.
However, it's notable that they haven't suffered extreme losses.
The shallow stop loss is the main reason, but during indicator releases expected to produce large moves, catching the fluctuations in the NY Dow, Nikkei, and stock prices, closing losing positions, or conversely influencing entries, is believed to boost performance.
In particular, CRAWLER_Lite differs from the previous two in that its trading style is only scalping, so early exits and entries based on price movements have so far paid off.
If the entry accuracy based on the crawled information is improved, future performance improvements can be expected.
Crawler / CRAWLER_Lite's performance is excellent at the moment, but this is an EA that looks forward to further crawling-system improvements.
