"Column published on Toyo Keizai ONLINE" Prior verification: check the stocks that rose
Hello, this is Matsushita.
It's a rainy Sunday.
The cherry blossoms along Meguro River in front of my home apartment are in full bloom,
and they are crowded with people every day.
From my lone balcony, I feel like I'm viewing the blossoms in full bloom.
I feel like I'm Hanami (flower viewing).
On Sunday afternoon, I am
screening stock names.
What I am doing today is simply extracting the currently rising stocks.
I will continue to look at the 225 constituent stocks,
and if I think they are rising,
I will save them into folders.
When I am finished, I will again look through the
dozens of stocks saved in the folders in order, and then
compare them with the stocks I am buying and selling.
For me, I compare them with my current portfolio of stocks
that I publish weekly.
By doing so, I can understand what I am looking at
and what I am missing.
Next, based on the items I missed this time,
I make sure not to miss them, and
improve the accuracy of the stock screening.
Investment performance can be improved
by constantly conducting past verifications,
so that it can be enhanced.
When you have free time,
please cultivate the habit of performing validations.
