A master who made a huge profit in the year-end and New Year market
Thank you for your hard work^^
This is Nobushi.
Tokyo is a clear, pleasant day with great weather!
Just now, Mt. Fuji could be seen from the room in the distance!
The start of 2020 is off to a good start.
Now today, I plan to analyze the year-end and New Year market while talking about what would have happened if I had actually traded.
Although it's a completely after-the-fact analysis,
I think analyzing past charts will help you develop the ability to respond to future markets, so please use this as a reference.
Also, I personally do not recommend dabbling in year-end and New Year markets, so please understand.
Now let's go back in time to December 26, after Christmas holiday.
From the hourly chart,
a cleandowntrendis forming.
If you had captured this decline cleanly...
I think everyone would have thought so,
but in reality it would have been quite difficult.
Many people stayed out, and that was probably the correct decision.
Hourly chart

Since December 26, on the hourly chartdownward signalshave been lighting up.
In the mid-term, you need to enter with a bearish bias, so
on the 15-minute chartdownward two-waveappears, that's when you want to make a move.
Now, let's look at the 15-minute chart.

If the hourly chart indicates a bearish bias, then
on the 15-minute charttwo rising wavesappear, the canonical move is “a shallow stop out with small profit.”
If you had entered, you might have been stopped out.
After that, the two-wave decline formed again, so I would enter boldly.
In that case, you should set a relatively wide stop loss.
Also be careful not to exit with only a small profit (though of course that’s hindsight).
What I often do when I go in with a strong stance is
・Pursue on the third wave
・Pursue after breaking the most recent low (or high in an uptrend)
either of these options.
In the case of winners, sometimes the third wave overlaps with the recent low.
In those moments, I feel quite secure when attacking.
If you had followed this downtrend as shown in the image, it would have been a massive profit.
Of course, ideally.
However, important points include
・Ride the trend on higher timeframes
・If you go against the higher timeframe, cut losses cleanly
・When you should attack, do so with confidence (manage risk with break-even or other methods)
These are some key points.
They’re fairly basic, right?
If you read FX-related books, they always cover these basics, and surprisingly you can still earn profits with just the basics.
I think experience and intuition build on top of that fundamental foundation.
First, practice trading faithfully to the basics.
Winner’s entry signals simply show the most advantageous point, so I’m confident they rarely miss drastically.
“First, the basics”
Keep that in mind and aim for massive profits this year as well!
