In February 2018, I am drafting this manuscript. Even here in the United States, cold days that make it hard to part with a coat continue. But spring is just around the corner. Yumi Matsutoya’s “Haru yo, Koi” is a good song. The author hums a tune and envisions springtime flower viewing.
When spring comes, Washington’s cherry blossoms are also very beautiful, not inferior to Japan. In Potomac Park, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is held. I have heard that the inspiration for this began when Eliza Sidmore visited Japan, was moved by the beauty of the cherry blossoms, and planned to plant cherry trees along the river. If readers have an opportunity to visit Washington in spring, please experience finding “spring” in Washington.
I am not a heavy drinker, but a spring flower viewing without a drinking party is incomplete. And considering what to pair with the sake is part of the enjoyment. However, at this time of year, for a salaryman, the best sake accompaniment is “human resources.”
