In general stock chart software, the obtainable stock price data is surprisingly limited, isn’t it?

Daily data covers about 2–3 years, weekly data about 4–5 years, and monthly data about 10 years.

For many people, that amount of data is enough, so

it cannot be said categorically that this data amount is insufficient, but

for backtesting trading strategies, you would like to have more, wouldn’t you?

In that respect, Treste can obtain very long-term stock data

andyou can download and retain data for 10 years, 20 years

even for daily and minute data.

For backtesting, having as much data as possible is desirable

after all.
