【Pon Scalp / +30 pips】Questioning the strongest flag theory!
Hello!
I’m Viga, the Sonic Scalper^^
I will explain Thursday trades in the second week of December.
Yesterday’s results are
=========
4 entries
Total +30 pips
=========
That’s all^^
GBP/JPY
In yesterday’s election, it blew up, didn’t it〜
There were people who gained huge profits from this surge
and I think there are others who incurred big losses.
In my blog on December 6,
as a trading strategy for GBP/JPY,
“No short positions yet” I mentioned.

Rather than overthinking fundamentals,
I think it’s enough to properly master the technicals!
Well, everyone has their own method,
and if you’re successful, any method is fine, haha
Now, here’s a look back at yesterday.
■ Entry No.1
“Flag-trade long (favorite pattern)”
+12 pips
・GBP/JPY 1-minute chart 12.12 08:29
・Long
This was my favorite pattern, so I went long with some conviction^^

==============
Flags have truly high win rates
whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced
if you want to win in trading, you should aim for them!
I genuinely believe this from the bottom of my heart!!
==============
By the way, the points I’m aiming for are in the article below^^
■My entry points
https://ameblo.jp/viga-trader/entry-12552894728.html
In FX,
taking profits up to the upper bound of the channel range
is fine, I think.
Those who can hold longer
can extend to the recent high.
From watching the market after I take profits,
I believe it is reasonable to do so.
※The market after that
▼
I’m chicken, and I want to keep position duration short for risk avoidance
so I sometimes exit on a pips basis using MA, BB, or other methods.
Feel free to do as you like^^
■ Entry No.2
“Counter-trend at Fibonacci 100% retrace”
+5 pips
・GBP/JPY 1-minute chart 12.21 10:12
・Long
This is obvious to anyone watching^^
After an impulsive rise and fall, it retraced to the start of the rally, and I went long against the trend.
When I saw this point,
I exited after gaining about 5 to 10 pips without holding long.
That was the plan, and I exited as expected.
That’s all there is to it^^
In a range,
the point where the Fibonacci 100% retrace occurs
can rebound depending on price movement,
so I had been eyeing it since the BO era.
With that image in mind,
I could trade with relatively little fear!
However, extending profits at this point isn’t advisable to expect much.
■ Entry No.3
“Short-term trend-following from a W formed”
+6 pips
・GBP/JPY 1-minute chart 12.12 10:41
・Long
Honestly, I just entered on the arrow^^;
Something like this.
This arrow
is arguably the best I’ve ever had in my history
and I rely on it completely, lol
It’s truly excellent~
But,
about 20-30% of the trades lose,
so you need the discipline not to chase those.
Yes, that’s about it.
So,
there aren’t many things technically that are helpful
in this context, haha
If anything,
it’s the fact that I’m forming a clean W
and after a retrace, moving beyond the recent high is hard to justify.
So I took profit without being greedy.
That’s about it for that^^;
■ Entry No.4
“A mere pullback after a sharp drop”
+7 pips
・GBP/JPY 1-minute chart 12.12 13:11
・Short
This is something anyone can grab^^;
I’m not sure if we even need a full explanation haha
A range break followed by a fall,
rebound to MA and then sell near the MA.
That’s really all there is to it.
It’s textbook and
quite an easy trade to understand!
yesterday ended with a total of +30 pips^^
Today’s strategy is
GBP/JPY is in a very strong state, and
it’s Friday, so I don’t plan to push it.
I might not trade at all.
I’m even thinking that might be better.
However, my go-to move
“Flag (1-minute or 5-minute chart)”
might form a clean point, and if it does, I might target only that!
Everything depends on price movement,
and I will act accordingly.
Scalping is good for small, quick moves^^
Well then♪
