Domestic MT4 spread comparison in Japan & Gold Hand USDJPY real and demo account performance comparison
We have been measuring real MT4 account spreads for many years, but thanks to the recent spread competition among FX companies that has spread to MT4, it’s fair to say that an outstanding trading environment has been created for investors.
Among other things, spreads are overwhelmingly tighter than those of FX firms outside Japan, as well as system stability, the abundance of trading tools, and proper oversight of financial institutions by financial regulators, making Japan the world’s number-one FX trading environment. I think saying this is by no means an exaggeration.
Recently, along with extensive coverage of zero commissions for stock trading and mutual funds by securities firms, there is, to be dramatic, a shift from manufacturing to finance and services in Japan, and the country seems to be aiming in that direction.
Now, as such trading environments continue to improve and spreads narrow, we conducted a real-time spread comparison across MT4 real accounts from various firms, and compared the real-money operation of Gold Hand USDJPY on FXTF’s real account and Gaitame Finest’s demo account.
The image below is real-time spread data obtained from MT4 real accounts of Japanese domestic FX firms.
The graph shows the USD/JPY spread, and when comparing USD/JPY, FXTF (Golden Way Japan) has the narrowest spread, followed by OANDA and Gaitame Finest.
On Monday mornings, the opening spreads on weekday mornings seem to stay around about 1.2 pips for FXTF.
Looking at the table, for the currency pair most used by FX investors, GBP/JPY, the order is Gaitame Finest, FXTF, OANDA.
EUR/USD is FXTF, Gaitame Finest, OANDA.
EUR/JPY and AUD/JPY also see the rankings among these three firms swap, and overall the trading environments of these three firms can be said to be cutting-edge.
What FX investors commonly say is that Gaitame Finest is stable, FXTF has recently improved, and OANDA should at least open and hold an account, but the data makes this clear.
We have recently started real-money operation of Gold Hand USDJPY on FXTF’s MT4.
The EA in operation is, Gold Hand USDJPY. Gold Hand USDJPY.
The following figures are GogoJungle's real-trade results.
From the 15th we have begun operating Gold Hand USDJPY.
The image below shows the operation results on the Gold Hand USDJPY product page's Gaitame Finest demo account; comparing the two, due to MT4 spreads and other environment factors, trades were not executed at the exact same times, but for example, on 11/28 00:15 and 11/26 05:00 they executed the same trades.
While it is commonly understood by those with EA trading experience that demo account trading yields better results than real accounts, when you look at the two trades, the results show almost no difference.
Considering the real spread gaps and EA operation, if you are going to use MT4 in Japan, first would be FXTF (Golden Way Japan); Gaitame Finest, and OANDA are essential, I think.
