Information to Succeed with the Mexican Peso
On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, Money Square Co., Ltd. held the “Mexican Peso x Tralipi Investment Strategy Seminar” at Midtown Tower in Roppongi. In this seminar, the essential market perspective and fundamentals needed to profit from the Mexican peso-yen Tralipi were explained very clearly.
The seminar consisted of two parts. In Part 1, under the theme “Experts discuss the latest financial market trends and summer market tendencies and countermeasures,” Takashi Nishiyama, a current fund manager, spoke. In the latter half of Part 1, Yo Higa, Senior Market Strategist at Money Square, also spoke and exchanged opinions with Nishiyama.
In Part 2, a talk session was held with three speakers: Akihiro Nishida, Chief Economist; Kazuya Yatsushiro, Senior Analyst; and Takamitsu Tsuda, Chief Analyst, all from Money Square.
▶ It was held on a weekday evening, but many proactive individual investors attended.
▶ In the inner pages of the seminar handout titled “What Mexico Is Like! – Mexico’s Economy in Photos and Data,” the country of Mexico is explained from various aspects such as living, history, tourism, and economy.
Buffett Waiting for the Next Crash?
In Part 1, a total of 31 slides were used, and the outlook for monetary policy based on abundant data was discussed. It truly felt like Nishiyama’s bold style—easy to listen to and easy to understand.
Among them, the content about the renowned global investor Warren Buffett left a strong impression. Currently, Buffett’s Index has risen to levels similar to the IT bubble around 2000. This suggests that stock prices are globally overvalued at present.
Nishiyama also described Buffett as a “contrarian investor who sells stocks before a crash and buys after.” Berkshire Hathaway’s cash ratio has risen since 2016, and the current cash on hand is 12 trillion yen. This is cited as evidence that Buffett is preparing for the next crash. Of course, a stock market downturn may not happen immediately, but it is worth knowing as one indicator.
Besides this, a large amount of data was used to illustrate the current market situation in a comprehensive manner.
In the latter half, with Higa joining, W. D. Gann’s “ABC of Not Going Bankrupt in Investing” was discussed, which should be kept in mind in all investments, including stocks and FX.
▶ Seminar by Takashi Nishiyama. He explained at a brisk pace, using graphs extensively.
▶ In the latter half of Part 1, the format shifted to a talk between Nishiyama and Yo Higa.
Where Do the Mexican Pesos Head According to Keywords
Part 2 features a talk session by three of Money Square’s leading analysts/economists, discussing future market outlooks and strategies. In this segment, Rikako Bunnbay, the moderator, served as MC.
This talk session focused on the Mexican peso-yen pair. It was highly informative for anyone who plans to start Tralipi trading with the Mexican peso yen.
There was also an explanation of concrete Tralipi strategies using charts. An analysis environment was created by displaying a weekly chart for the Mexican peso-yen with a span model, Bollinger Bands with a period of 26, the Parabolic SAR, and Slow Stochastics. By combining multiple technical indicators, you could glean a method to identify effective Tralipi settings.
In the latter half of the talk session, the three speakers each picked one keyword for market forecasts. Yatsushiro chose “Trump,” noting attention to whether the United States would impose tariffs on Mexico.
Nishida chose “Fed.” The importance of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policy was highlighted as having a significant impact on the Mexican peso-yen market.
Tsuda chose “Small-scale Operations.” If there isn’t much volatility, he argued, one should aim for small profits.
Despite being a weekday seminar, many individual investors participated, and there were many scenes of attendees taking diligent notes to avoid missing the key points of the Mexican peso-yen Tralipi.
This seminar is not unique; Money Square proactively provides information to help users master Tralipi. It offers a broad range of knowledge, including FX fundamentals, fundamentals information, and technical analysis. It can be a strong ally for those aiming to excel in the FX world.
