August 18 – This Week's USD/JPY and GBP/JPY: Trends and Range Forecast
(
Dollar/Yen and Pound/Yen both moved after Friday's evening articles were posted.
Friday's article described “If it breaks above here, it goes up; if it falls below here, it goes down,” but
since it is still functioning, it remains unpublished.
Even so, during Obon, it was a roller coaster up and down, and then up again every day.
On the 12th, the Pound/Yen bounced perfectly at the anticipated lower level ① for Friday (this is still the lower bound).
On the 13th, after Monday's decline, it seemed to fall, but rose instead → it broke above the predicted fall/crash value.
On the 14th, after Monday's sharp rise, it seemed to rise, but fell → the forecast clearly showed downward movement.
On the 15th, it traded within almost the same range as the 14th, showing a range-bound expectation.
On the 16th, it rose again! → Was the decline wiped out? (this is where we are now)
In past articles, I have almost daily verified the previous day's forecast, so if you're interested, please take a look. (All results are shown using the line method only.)
And
Will this week head upward as is, or
will it go down again?
So here is this week's outlook and forecast.
