The leadership election for the Conservative Party in England went as expected. The margin of votes was overwhelming, and public opinion is clear [from Mr. Rikio Shima's newsletter].
From the investment newsletter "Shima Rikio's Practical Real Trade" by GogoJungle, here is a small excerpt from today's issue.
Regarding the notable Conservative leadership election, as expected Boris Johnson defeated former Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt. The vote difference was 92,153 to 46,656. Quite a large margin, and public opinion is clear.
Before the decision, a rebound buying activity emerged amid caution of “selling on rumors, buying on facts,” and the pound-dollar briefly recovered to around 1.2475, but is currently trading around 1.2460. Johnson has continued making statements since taking office, and regarding Brexit he says, “We know that We will do it.”
The rebound of buying on “facts” may continue for a while, but we may hear stronger statements toward Brexit. It is important to monitor the movement of the pound exchange rate.
“Shima Rikio's Practical Real Trade” (Shima Rikio)quoted.
With Boris Johnson elected as British Prime Minister, progress on Brexit seems likely. As mentioned in the newsletter, going forward we should pay attention to statements related to Brexit from the new prime minister. (Editorial staff)
