【11/6 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points】
Good work today! Now let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, here's today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, dollar-yen is around 158 yen 10 sen. This morning it started around 157 yen 65 sen, but during Tokyo time after 8:00 Japan time there was a move down to around 157 yen 25 sen (today's Tokyo low). However, following a rise in crude oil prices, the pair moved with a slight bias toward dollar buying.
From the morning level, dollar-yen is set to hand off to overseas trading with an increase of about 45 sen.
President Trump of the United States is about to decide whether to resume the Iran conflict. In the short term, this seems likely to move the market. Also, tonight we have the US employment data. Big expectations for the move after the release.
Now, here are tonight's dollar-yen scalping points (my notes).
● Movements around 17:00 near the London market opens
● Movements after the US employment data release at 22:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the US University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index release at 24:00

Tonight's "1-minute chart scalping strategy" targets moves around the London and New York market opens, and moves after the 22:30 US employment data and 24:00 University of Michigan index. For users of the "1-minute scalping club," following the theory should be fine. Also, Trump's decision is something to watch. If it moves nicely, it could be good.
Also, if you're aiming for shorts with the "15-minute scalping strategy," wait for a small pullback to around 158.30–158.40 or lower and then chase downward. Do not hold positions before the US employment data.
As for recent updates,Recently, Mr. Googo-Jungle visited my office from afar to interview me about “scalping.” I'm grateful. I spoke a little, so please watch when you have time.

Scalping tends to be thought of as having small profit per trade and offering 24-hour opportunities, but that is not the case. By targeting times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time periods I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (DST in the US 16:00– / Standard time in the US 17:00–)
・New York market open time (DST in the US 22:00– / Standard time in the US 23:00–)
Even immediately after US data/events release, volatility increases and opportunities are abundant. However, in the few minutes right after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to always enter after they return to normal spreads.
Always check the US indicator/event schedule in advance. Knowing when opportunities come allows you to build profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before US indicators/events. If you go against it, you’ll be overwhelmed. You can be taken to your loss limit in an instant. Carelessness is not acceptable, absolutely not.
US indicators/event schedules can be checked on the websites of each securities company and FX broker.
Of course, there are many other points besides the three above, but I’ve covered the essential points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.

Actually… I am freely publishing one of my trading methods, the “15-minute chart scalping,” completely for free. I hope it helps, even a little. (Completely free, you know.)
