In 6 cycles, +8,193 yen. However, the unrealized loss midway was 29,547 yen — Discretionary control LITE · Demo account record [Series Part 17]
Serial: Yoko and Kenji's GOLD EA Mastery Notebook 第17回 (Discretionary LITE — Real Record of Demo Accounts)
Hello, this is Yoko.
Today, around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 2, I ran “Nampin Technique Discretionary LITE” on a demo account. On Note, I wrote my impressions as a narrative. Here, I willrecord the settings and numbers as a recordfor your reference, in case you are trying the same thing with the 7-day free trial (Issue 16).
First, the conclusion (demo account, one recording)
・Total settled profit/loss:+8,193 yen
・Maximum unrealized loss during the run:29,547 yen
These two numbers must be viewedtogether as a pairwhen you look at them.
Today's settings
・Date and time: Monday, November 2, around 9:30 a.m.
・Account: Demo account
・Instrument: GOLD (XAUUSD). Using GOLD preset
・Trading direction: BUY (first entry requires you to press the button yourself)
・Initial lot size: 0.05 lots
・Re-entry condition: NextBar
・Repeat (LOOP): 5 times
Why BUY?
Last weekend, GOLD had fallen sharply. Looking at the 1-hour chart, from late October the price kept dropping, and by month-end there were moments when it fell to around $3,880.
The market does not go straight down endlessly. “Perhaps there will be a rebound soon.” With that thought, I started with BUY.
This is my market view. There is no guarantee that it will rise.Deciding the direction is the first job of this tool.
Common stumbling point: LOOP5 comprises six cycles in total
It’s a bit confusing, but even if LOOP is set to 5 times, it doesn’t mean the trades end after 5 entries.
Initial manual entry:1 time
Subsequent automatic entries:5 times
Total:6 cycles
I only pressed the first BUY button. The settlements and re-entries progressed as configured by the tool.
Breakdown of results
・Trading cycles:6 times
・Profit-taking without averaging down:5 cycles
・Settlements with averaging down:1 cycle
・Total settled positions: 7 lots
・Total settled profit/loss:+8,193 yen
・Maximum unrealized loss during operation:29,547 yen
Note: This is the result from one run on a demo account. The profit/loss shown is based on the settlement history. It does not guarantee future profits.
Viewing one averaging-down cycle separately
Of the 6 cycles, 5 cycles profitably exited with only the first position. The remaining 1 cycle had the price move unfavorably after BUY, and a second-position was added.
・First stage settlement profit/loss:+6,404 yen
・Second stage settlement profit/loss:−4,318 yen
・Total of the two stages:+2,086 yen
When looking only at the second stage, it’s a loss. But when combined with the first stage, it settled in profit. For averaging-down tools, you should look at the total profit/loss for the positionsrather than each position individually, as confirmed by actual history.
Averages-down does not always save you.If prices do not rebound, the number of positions can increase and losses can grow further.
Comparing profit with maximum unrealized loss
The largest unrealized loss carried during the run was approximately 3.6 times the final profit. In terms of results alone, it was a day that ended in profit. However, there were larger losses within that process.
Kenji also said this:
「It’s important not to judge only by the realized profit. Because it may not all rebound each time。」
Because it was a demo account, I could view it calmly. If it were real money, could I stay the same? Honestly, I’m not confident. There’s no reason to raise lots or decrease capital based on this alone.
If you try the same record with the trial version
If you’re trying it yourself with the 7-day trial, I recommend you write down the following three items.
①Total settled profit/loss
②Maximum unrealized loss during operation
③Number of averaging-down occurrences
Looking only at ① may look successful. Looking at ② and ③ together reveals the true nature of this tool.

Thank you for reading to the end.
