The losing trader era marked by detours
Mr. Toshiro started trading about 15 years ago, around the time Abenomics was about to begin. He was still in Japan then, and EAs, courses, and tools were not as abundant as they are now. As a result,he bought questionable info products and tools and ended up melting his fundsto start off. He remained a losing trader for years, taking considerable detours such as switching to binary options along the way.
The turning point did not come from a mentor or a specific piece of content. During the phase of buying info products, his perspective had narrowed; but when he reached a financially urgent state where he could no longer keep buying, he decided tocalm down and relearn the markets from scratch. After he began studying overseas and Japanese sources and the so-calledinstitutional trading methods, he gradually started to win.

Why he recommends gold scalping
What Mr. Toshiro recommends most now isgold scalping. Gold has large price swings, and the old conventional wisdom was that it wasn’t suitable for beginners. In reality, however, because of its high volatility, compared with currency pairs like USD/JPY,the wait time until entry is shorter—which is an advantage.
Continuously waiting for entry points with limited time can be a pitfall for part-time traders. With gold, there are many entry opportunities without long waits, soit suits busy part-time traders as well. Even if it seems difficult, focusing on gold makes it easier to grasp its market quirks.

Key levels that traders watch
Outside of gold, he routinely trades by focusing onkey levelsin USD/JPY. In addition to daily highs, lows, opens, and closes, levels like 145, 150, and 155round numbersare lines many traders watch. You can clearly see market essentials at work there: temporary bounces, or acceleration upward in an uptrend using the line as a base. Focusing on key levels in USD/JPY, a pair familiar to Japanese traders, increases the conviction behind everyday trades.
This approach isalso applied to gold. In addition to round numbers and the daily open, close, high, and low, he also watches the range lines of the Asian and New York sessions. Gold tends to react reliably at such key junctures.
In the main video, he explains his journey and how he thinks about key levels in detail, so please watch the main video.
In the upcoming Part 2, we’ll ask about thedetails of Gold Canon, developed based on the nature of gold and upgraded many times. Stay tuned.
