【Laboratory Development Logic Introduction】What is the same and what is different between the fully automatic version and the semi-automatic version. USDJPY Early Morning Anomaly 7-axis Semi-Auto Version "EarlyAnomaly05 Radar & Guard"
Lab product introduction, eighth edition.
The subject is “EarlyAnomaly05 Radar & Guard.”
This product moves the seven axes of the fully automated EA “USDJPY Early-Anomaly v5” introduced in the fourth edition to a semi-automatic structure using an indicator (Radar) and a settlement EA (Guard).
In this article, we will introduce what is the same and what is different compared with the fully automated version, focusing on that aspect.

■ Similarities: core logic
【Figure: EarlyAnomaly05_Fig1_7-axis timetable.png】
When to enter, which direction to enter, when to settle, and the stop loss position (40 pips for all axes) are exactly the same as the fully automated version.
Radar signals are matched against the fully automated version’s判定判定 2,885 times, and the time, axis, direction, and price all match.
About 290 times per year, all settlements occur within the same day, and there is no averaging down, martingale, or adding to positions.
■ Differences: whether to enter is decided by a human
【Figure: EarlyAnomaly05_Fig2_From signal to settlement.png】
Guard does not place new orders by itself (except for reproducing tester results).
For each position opened, the axis from the same-direction signal that appeared immediately prior is applied, and it is settled within its holding time.
If you enter according to the signal, it will be settled at the same time as the fully automated version.
As in the third example, Guard does not determine whether it rode the signal or not.
■ Caution arising from the difference: entry timing
【Figure: EarlyAnomaly05_Fig4_Entry delay.png】
Since you enter manually, there will be a delay not present in the fully automated version.
In the lab’s own validation (2016–2025), if the delay from signal is within 10 minutes, the average price swing per trade is almost maintained; at 15 minutes it drops to about 70%, and at 30 minutes about 30%.
A 10-minute late upside is considered random variation. If you enter, aim for within 10 minutes.
