[Things to Do on a Night You Cannot Wait] Choose one place to view during the wasted time
Even though I know there’s nowhere to enter, aren’t you sticking your hand into small moves without closing the chart? What can I do to avoid turning the waiting time into mere endurance?
If I do nothing, it feels like I’m wasting time.
And on the nights I decide to wait, orders tend to increase.
Good evening!
I’m Masashi ^^
This time, I’ll talk about what I do on nights when I don’t enter.
I’ve decided on one place to look during the times I won’t enter.
Waiting time should be a time to stop trading, not a time to narrow down where to look.
? On the night I decided to skip, I entered three times
In the past, I would place orders many times specifically on nights I decided to skip.
When I decided, I thought, today the movement is small in the space between two walls, so I won’t enter.
However, as I kept watching the screen, the small movements began to look big.
If it extended a little, I’d think, “Maybe it’s moving after all,” and I’d enter in the middle.
Looking back at the records, all the orders that night were “touched the middle/small movement.”
? The reason I decided to skip, I erased for myself while looking at the screen.
? Why can’t I wait, and why is that?
I think the reason is that there isn’t a defined thing to look at while waiting.
If there’s nowhere to look, the eyes chase what’s moving.
If you keep looking at what’s moving, you start looking for a reason for that movement.
Usually you’ll find a reason, so the decision to wait collapses.
Therefore, during waiting time, decide on one place to look.
If you have one place to look, your eyes won’t automatically chase the middle movement.
Even when waiting at home for a package, not many people stand at the door forever, right?
Because you know you should answer when the bell rings, you can do other things in the meantime.
The same goes for chart-waiting nights: if you have a place you’ll go to see once it comes, you don’t need to watch the entire time.
✅ How to use the non-entry time
The task is to leave a note before closing the chart.
・Look at the higher time frame and choose one wall to watch as the price approaches
・Write down what to check when it gets close to that wall
・Do not open the order screen in places other than that
A format that is enough is: [Look place: lower wall belt / What to check: whether it’s stopping the decline there].
After writing the note, you don’t need to stay in front of the screen until you approach that wall.
If you end the night without getting close, you’ll accept that as the result of waiting.
Having one place to look makes waiting time no longer a struggle.
? Points to look for when you approach the wall
When you approach the wall, you don’t enter immediately.
Look at the one thing you wrote to confirm.
The point to watch is whether the price movement changes near the wall.
By switching between lower and higher time frames, check whether momentum is fading or about to stop.
If nothing has changed, that night is a skip.
In the records, note [approached the lower wall / did not stop, broke through / skipped].
⚠ Even if you decide where to look, there are nights you won’t enter
Let me break down what’s been said so far once more.
Once you decide where to look, it does not mean you’ll be able to enter every night.
During a week, there are more nights when you don’t approach the wall.
That isn’t because you chose a bad place to look; it’s simply that the market didn’t come there that night.
Even on nights that didn’t come, record [didn’t reach the lower wall / skipped].
Counting the number of nights that didn’t come shows how long you can wait, later on!
Conversely, if there were orders remaining on nights that didn’t come, it’s still a sign you’re chasing the middle movement.
When you review those order locations over the weekend, you’ll understand where you erased the reason for waiting.
? Common question: Is it bad to enter at another place while waiting?
This is a common question.
If you feel like entering elsewhere, write that new place in the note first, then look.
For example, [Look place: upper wall belt / What to confirm: whether it’s stopped above], written in the same format.
If you can’t write it, that place doesn’t have a reason to look yet.
Sometimes writing it down helps calm the urge to enter.
If you can write it, you can add it to the look places for the next nights.
? GOLD Special Cure: what can be organized and what stays with you
The GOLD Special Cure describes, in my order, how far to wait with GOLD and where to skip, forming the basis for choosing the waiting place on waiting nights.
I think it will serve as a foundation for choosing the look place when waiting.
However, a教材 does not stop you from putting your hands on the screen while waiting.
Writing notes or closing the chart is something you do in front of the screen.
If you want to know a place you will always enter every night, this isn’t for you.
If you want to design your own way to spend non-entry nights, this should suit you.
? Summary: on waiting nights, write only one place to look and close
On nights you decide to skip, orders tend to increase while you’re looking at the screen.
That happens because you haven’t decided what to look at while waiting.
Before closing the chart, write down the next wall you’ll come to and what you will confirm there.
If you don’t approach, skip; if you do approach, confirm only what you wrote.
Whether you decide your own waiting method or organize your waiting approach with GOLD Special Cure, I hope you’ll choose what suits you best.
If there was no entry place tonight, just note the look place and try closing the chart ^^
