[10/22] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points and methods free公開中
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
[10/22 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points]
Good work everyone! Alright, let’s go with a Dollar/Yen scalp tonight as well!
First, here is the Tokyo Session overview for today.
Currently, the Dollar/Yen is around 157.10. This morning it started near 158.10, but during the Tokyo session selling intensified near the value of the midpoint, causing a sharp drop.
There may be risk-averse Yen buying due to PHP vulnerability concerns. It is said that websites around the world are being temporarily shut off. A vulnerability that hadn’t been found for over a decade was reportedly discovered by AI… the world has become a bit terrifying, hasn’t it?
The Dollar/Yen is likely to drop about 1 yen from the morning level as it hands off to overseas trading hours.
The Dollar/Yen has briefly broken below the lower end of the range, and it feels like it might move tonight! (Well, that’s the expectation…)
Now, here are tonight’s Dollar/Yen scalp points (my notes).
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements after the 21:30 US Initial Jobless Claims data release
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the 23:00 US Leading Economic Index release
—– Other notes …
・Be cautious of headlines about PHP vulnerabilities
・Be mindful of statements from US and Japanese governments about Yen weakness
・Headline news related to Middle East tensions and oil prices

Tonight’s “1-minute Chart Scalp Strategy” focuses on the movements around the London and New York market opens, and the moves after the 21:30 US Initial Jobless Claims and the 23:00 US Leading Economic Index releases. For users of the “1-minute Scalp Club,” if you handle it according to theory, there should be no problem. Tonight’s US data isn’t highly anticipated, so a calm market is also within expectations.
Also, if you’re aiming for shorts with the “15-minute Scalp Strategy,” wait for a small pullback and look to sell around 157.50–157.60 or lower, then ride it down. The sweet spots may already have been taken by Tokyo.
As for recent updates,A few days ago, Mr. Gogojan kindly visited my office all the way to interview me about “scalping.” I’m grateful for the opportunity. I spoke a little, so please watch when you have time.

Scalping has small target margins, so it may seem like there are 24-hour opportunities, but that is not the case. By targeting periods with higher volatility to some extent, you can significantly lower the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are near the London market open and near the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 US DST / 17:00 US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 US DST / 23:00 US standard time)
Even immediately after US data/events, volatility increases and opportunities arise. However, in the few minutes right after the announcement, spreads may widen, so it’s essential to enter only after spreads return to normal levels.
Always check the schedule of US indicators/events in advance on your brokerage or FX provider’s website. Knowing the times when opportunities will arise helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before US indicators/events. If you go against them, you’ll be in trouble in an instant. Careless mistakes are unacceptable, absolutely.
US indicators/events schedules can be checked on each broker’s or FX provider’s website.
Of course, besides the three main points above, there are many other factors, but I’ve discussed the essential points to keep in mind when scalping the Dollar/Yen.
