Episode 11 I created SL_ETL that automatically draws vertical lines at the designated time
For first-time readers, please allow me to introduce myself briefly.
As an active trader who continually generates monthly profits with my own indicators, I have developed over 1,000 indicators and automation tools to date while facing the markets.
ShenLong Lab's 11th item
“SL_ETL (Entry Time Lines)”
has been released.
This time, I will explain the reason I created this item and share tips for comparing price movements at specific times on MT4 and MT5.
How do you search for candles at the fixed time?I want to compare the price movements at the opening times of Tokyo, London, and New York every day.
The times on MT4/MT5 charts are the times of the broker's servers. After recalculating to Japan time, you then look for the candles at that time.
When Daylight Saving Time changes, there is an additional one-hour shift.
Ideas that can be done with standard features- Draw vertical lines by hand to mark the time
- Look at the chart time and recalculate to Japan time
Both are convenient, but they require daily and seasonal extra effort.
It would be nice if vertical lines could be drawn automatically at the fixed time.
I personally used to scroll daily to find the candles at the fixed time (market open). SL_ETL was created to eliminate that effort.
From here on, I will introduce how to use SL_ETL in a video.
