[Decide one thing to postpone next week on the weekend] A habit to avoid hesitating on weekdays
When you open the screen after coming home from work, aren’t you worrying from scratch about whether you’ll enter or not? How can you make your weekday evenings less indecisive, even a little?
On nights when you’re tired, you don’t have room to lay out one piece of evidence for your decision after another.
There are nights when, while you’re hesitating, the price moves and you end up entering in a hurry, you know.
Good evening!
This is Masashi^^
This time, I’ll tell you about deciding on one situation this Sunday not to enter next week.
It’s a habit of not increasing the number of scenarios to enter, but placing in advance the scenarios to skip.
To reduce what you have to think about on weekdays, decide just one thing on the weekend.
? Every week you were hesitating from zero on weekday nights
I used to open the screen on weekday nights and consider all the judgments for that day.
Was this a place to enter or should I wait and see today? I’d hesitate from scratch every time.
The longer I hesitated, the more I tended to look for reasons to enter.
When I review the records on weekends, I find I lost in similar moments in similar ways.
Last week, and the week before that, I kept hesitating in the same moments (;'∀')
Even though the content of the hesitation is almost the same every week, I’d rethink it each time on the spot.
? If you’re hesitating about the same thing every week, you can clear that hesitation on the weekend.
? Hesitation grows the more you try to decide on the spot
On weekday nights, fatigue from work, the momentum of price movement that day, and everything else get mixed into your judgment.
Even if you think you’ve considered calmly, when you look back later you’re often pulled by the momentum.
On the other hand, Sunday afternoon market activity is paused.
Because prices aren’t moving, it’s harder for urgency to creep into your judgment.
Therefore, situations you tend to hesitate about every week are better decided on Sunday than on the weekday.
In work planning, if you decide in advance what you will confirm in the middle, you’ll hesitate less during the task, similar to that.
Decide on a still Sunday, and on a moving weekday just read it.
? What you decide should be to skip more than to enter
If you decide something on the weekend, you might want to decide the entering moments as well.
But I’m choosing to decide one thing to skip first.
The reason is that increasing the number of entering scenarios also increases the things you need to confirm on weekdays.
With the skipped scenario, you do nothing when that moment comes, so the weekday burden doesn’t increase.
Moreover, the most frequent entries in your records are usually losses in the same moments.
Even skipping just one moment can change the shape of next week’s records.
✅ How to use a single line for skipping
On Sunday, list last week’s losses and choose the moment that occurred most frequently.
After choosing, write in one line: “Next week I will not enter in that moment.”
For example: “During the daytime, when the price movement is thin, I will skip any enter-from-any-wall pattern that comes from a distant place.”
Post the written line beside your monitor or near the order screen.
On weekdays, read only that one line before placing an order.
Example entry: 【Next week’s skip: enter after a big move when I would chase】
On the next Sunday, check only whether you were able to keep that line true.
If you could keep it, that’s enough for that week!
? Can you use the skip line, or must you see it at once
The point to look at when writing a line is whether you can distinguish that moment even with a tired head on weekday nights.
If you write a line like “Skip a situation that’s impossible,” you’ll have to think again on weekdays about what’s impossible.
Huh? You might wonder if you can write so specifically.
Actually, when you list last week’s losses, the time and place are often quite similar.
If you put those similarities directly into one line, it becomes specific.
If you can distinguish it in one line, on weekdays your thinking is limited to whether it’s that moment or not.
Write in words you can distinguish on weekdays without thinking.
? Is one line enough?
People often ask this.
If there are many forms of losses, does skipping just one have any meaning?
In my case, I keep it to one.
The reason is that if you increase to two or three, you’ll stop reading that list on weekdays.
A list of skipped items that isn’t read is almost as if you hadn’t written it at all.
Once you’re able to keep one, at the next weekend you can swap in another one, or add one more.
Increasing is not urgent; you can do it after that one becomes habitual.
⚠ Don’t replace the skip line every week
We’ve talked about deciding every week up to this point, but you don’t have to replace your one line every week.
If you couldn’t keep it, continue the same line for another week.
If you change to another moment just because you didn’t keep it, no line will stick as weeks pass.
Keep the same line for two or three weeks, and only then move on when your weekday hands naturally stop.
? What GOLD’s antidote can organize, and what remains
GOLD antidote writes in order the places to look, the reasons to wait, and the places to stop, in my verification sequence.
I also spend a chapter on markets you should not touch.
When choosing what to skip on the weekend, it becomes material to consider why that moment is painful.
However, no textbook chooses which moment you should skip.
Writing a line and reading that line on a weekday are your own habits.
If you’re looking for a way to remove weekday judgments by simply reading, this教材 is not for you.
If you want to select skip moments from your own records and gradually reduce hesitation, it should suit you well.
? Summary: One on Sunday, just read on weekdays
Weekday indecision grows as you try to decide on the spot.
On Sundays, decide only one moment you will not enter next week, and post it with one line.
On weekdays, read only that one line before placing orders, then check on the next Sunday whether you kept it.
If you couldn’t keep it, skip the same moment again for another week.
Whether you choose skip moments from your own records or organize them by the GOLD antidote approach is up to you, whichever suits you best.
If today is Sunday, start by listing last week’s losses.
Next week’s weekday nights should become a little quieter^^
