[Reason for not getting off at the panel number] Only one line to view while holding it
Right after entering, isn’t your finger already reaching for the payment button just because the numbers on the screen drop by one? To avoid being swayed while you’re holding it, where should you be watching?
Before placing an order, the lines, arrows, and numbers on the panel all looked trustworthy.
From the moment you enter, it starts to look like every small movement is telling you to quit, right?
Good evening!
I’m Masashi ^^
This time, it’s about how to view your position while the Golden Line Sniper AI display is moving.
The places to look while you hold increase the more you search after you enter.
So I’ve decided to fix one thing before placing an order.
While you hold it, look at one line you decided on before entering, and just one fact about exiting.
? After entering, every display starts to look like a reason to exit
Before placing an order, I look at the screen to confirm the reason for entering.
But after entering, I end up looking at the same screen with a view to finding reasons to escape.
• The panel’s numbers drop by one level
• A small pullback appears on the lower timeframe
• Another line appears on the opposite side
In my records, all of these were within the expected range of fluctuation before entering.
But while holding, each one looks like a big change.
There are also days when the opposite happens.
When the numbers rise a bit, you think “I can still go,” and you hesitate to exit just before the placed stop loss.
If you start picking only the factors you want to see, the displays begin to look like both friends and foes.
If you watch all the fluctuations while holding, the displays tend to become material for mood rather than judgment.
? A night when you released before it rose after seeing the numbers drop
There were nights when I was swayed by the panel numbers too.
What I had decided before entering was only to exit when the upper line was breached and the feet closed.
Right after entering, the price moved back a little, and the panel numbers dropped one level.
Even though I hadn’t reached the line yet, I thought, “Is this collapsing?” and I exited.
After that, the price extended in the direction I had initially anticipated… lol
Of course, there are days when you don’t exit and hold, and the price hits your stop loss.
Later reviews showed that the exit reason was just “the numbers dropped.”
There was not a single exit fact that was decided before entering.
The exit was not a market reality but my fear of the display’s fluctuations.
Record example: [Exit fact decided before entering: feet breach the upper line / Actual exit reason: panel numbers dropped / After that: moved in the expected direction]
? The places to watch while holding should be written in one line before ordering
Since then, I’ve started writing in one line, before placing an order, where I will watch while holding.
【Watch line: the nearest line above before entering】
【Exit fact: reaches the placed stop loss / crosses the watched line and feet close】
I only write these two lines.
All other fluctuations are not used for judgment, even if they come into view.
“No, no, isn’t it okay to leave it if the numbers are dropping?” you might wonder.
In my case, I leave alone only fluctuations that are not written as exit facts.
Stop loss exits at the position you placed before entering, so when it hits there, I take it as an inside-the-expected-cost.
After setting one watching location, for me, everything I do while holding reduces to comparing two lines in one line.
Initially, I was fidgety and it didn’t calm me down (;'∀')
This doesn’t guarantee more wins.
What changes is that the exit reason becomes consistent with the one line I wrote.
If you write the exit condition beforehand, while holding you can just confirm that it hasn’t occurred yet.
? Separate the lines and the panel into when to look and when not to look
The Golden Line Sniper AI is a decision-support tool I built for the MT5 GOLD chart.
It shows AI attention lines, candidate signals, how conditions line up with a score, and remaining bar time on a single chart.
What I use while holding is mainly the AI attention line.
It’s a method to choose one line you wrote to watch from the displayed lines, limiting what you look at on the screen to a single location.
I consider the AI diagnostic panel as a display to verify how conditions line up before entering.
Since the display can be toggled on the chart with a button, after entering you can also close the panel as one option.
However, deciding which line to watch and what would trigger an exit is up to you, not the tool.
The display does not make the exit decision for you.
Use the panel for pre-entry checks and the line for in-hold checks.

✅ How to use while holding: write, close, and glance at the feet when they close
There are three tasks.
・Before placing the order, write the watch line and exit fact
・After entering, close the panel
・When the feet close, look at the price and the line
You can tell that the feet close by the remaining time display.
Before the close, price movement is still incomplete in shape, so looking again at that point is not a strong basis for judgment.
When the feet close, compare with the one-line note and write only one of: [Exit fact: still / appeared]
If it’s “still,” I keep my eyes off the screen until the next foot closes.
The point to watch is not how far the price rose, but whether the reason for exiting matched the memo line.
⚠ It’s okay to review only the place itself if it changed, not the one line
Up to here I’ve written “don’t look at anything other than the one line,” but there are exceptions.
When the wall on the higher timeframe is clearly breached and the premise of entry disappears, I’m willing to exit for reasons not in the memo.
In that case, I leave a one-line note like “Reason revised: breached higher-timeframe wall, premise of entry disappeared.”
For me, when I can’t write a reason in one line, it’s often not that the premise changed, but that I just got scared.
Whether you can write it or not serves as a guide to separate mere fluctuation from changes in premise.
❌ Do not use displays for the reason to keep holding
I also watch out for the opposite use.
When you’ve come near the stop loss and the panel numbers rise a bit, you might hold thinking “it may revert.”
A display that you decided not to use as an exit reason is not to be used as a reason to hold either.
Using only one side makes it easier to collect favorable material for yourself.
Keeping the position you placed inside the anticipated cost is easier if you do not insert the display’s numbers there.
Displays not used for exit reasons should not be used for holding reasons either.
? For those who fear holding time and for those who don’t
I think this method suits people who tend to exit before the move grows after entering due to fear.
It’s designed to limit viewing while holding to a single line.
Conversely, it isn’t suitable for those who want the tool to decide the exit timing until the trade ends.
The signal tool’s display does not decide when to exit for you.
Also, using the display does not guarantee profit.
There are days when exiting exactly as the one line dictates still results in a stop loss, and that cost is determined at the time of placement.
? Summary: Before entering next, try writing two lines
If you keep staring at the screen after entering, every display becomes a reason to exit or to hold.
Therefore, before you hold, write one line for what you will watch and one line for the exit fact, before placing the order.
Enter and close the panel, and only look at the line’s position when the feet close.
You can review only when the higher timeframe’s location itself changes, and even then leave a one-line reason.
Whether you redo the lines yourself each time or keep it short on a screen with the attention line and remaining time is up to you.
Next time you place an order, try writing only two lines.
Over the weekend, count whether the exit reason matched those two lines ^^
