[Procedure to narrow down to one reflection point] Decide on exactly one line to look at before placing the order
Didn’t you ever write six points of reflection over the weekend, only to find that by Wednesday you hadn’t kept any of them?
When you were writing, you felt like you could fix all of them next week.
On Monday morning, you open the chart with all of them in mind.
When there are more things you want to fix, which one should you tackle first?
Good evening!
This is Masashi^^
In the last two sections, we’ve continued the discussion of reflections.
In the first, it was about identifying small losses repeated weekly in the same pattern, rather than a single big loss, by counting them.
In the second, it was about deciding in advance which single moment to observe while you hold the position.
This time is the closing of that series.
Even when you have identified the loss pattern and the moment to observe while you hold, there are still mountains of things you want to fix. This is a talk for those times.
✅ The night of Sunday when you wrote six points of reflection
My younger self found weekend reflections to be incredibly long.
I would lay out a week’s worth of records and mark the places I lost.
I would write down things I noticed as they came to mind.
・ Entering too early
・The distance to cut losses changes every time
・Touching too much during the thin mid-day period
・Increasing the amount right after a win
・Entering from the middle of walls to walls
・Taking profits too early
Once one page of the notebook was filled, I felt as if I had properly reflected on the week.
The more one wrote, the more earnest it seemed.
✅ The number of items written does not relate to how much is fixed.
? Weekend then: [Write six reflection points / Plan to keep all of them from Monday]
❌ By Wednesday, none of them were kept
On Monday morning, you open the chart intending to keep all six.
But when you try to recall them in order before placing an order, by the time you reach the third one you can’t remember.
While you’re trying to check what the fourth was, the price has already moved.
In a panic you enter, and you end up placing orders without confirming any reflection.
By Tuesday, about half had slipped from memory.
And on Wednesday. Before you realized it, none of the six were kept (;'∀')
When you tried to observe all six at once, not a single one was kept.
⚠ Wednesday’s record: [Cannot recall before placing the order / Moves while looking at the notebook / Entering in a panic]
? Changing more than one at a time makes the reasons why it worked disappear
Over the weekend I looked back at the records again and found even more problems.
There should have been days when things improved a little, but I couldn’t tell which of the six actually worked.
You often see the phrase, “Why can’t you win even if you change your method?”
Actually, I think that often you’re stopping at the level of how you change things, more than the content of the method itself.
If you change three or four things at once, whether the results are good or bad, you can’t tell which reason caused it.
If you start the next week with this unclear, you’ll want to change another place again.
And the number of places you change keeps growing, while nothing piles up in your hands.
✅ The more places you change, the harder it is to see what actually worked.
? On weeks when the reason for the result isn’t understood, you don’t know what to leave for next time.
? Realizing by AI that you should fix it
This sense was also clearly understood while working with AI.
Usually, I have AI revise my sentences.
One time, I asked for a rough, easy-to-read revision, and it returned with edits in many places at once.
The phrasing, the paragraph breaks, and the order of ideas all changed.
Overall, it felt better.
But I couldn’t explain exactly what had improved.
Since then, I’ve asked to fix just one place at a time.
The most frequently revised place is now the item I check before writing the next part.
If it’s just one place, you can compare before and after with your own eyes.
? What I do in writing: [Make the revised place a pre-write check item]
? Will you repeat the same loss if you don’t fix everything
When I bring this up, people often ask me this.
“Isn’t it too slow to fix one by one? If you leave the rest, won’t you repeat the same losses?”
I used to think the same way.
Leaving known flaws unfixed felt like neglect.
But I’m not saying to discard the remaining five.
I leave them at the bottom of the records, in a queue.
Moreover, fixing one can also reduce other reflections at the same time.
Weeks when you decided not to enter in the middle of walls also saw a reduction in the reflection that entering early was a problem.
Because the place to wait hadn’t been decided for either.
Leave the remaining reflections in the queue, don’t discard them.
? How the records are arranged: [One reflection at the top for this week / The rest in order waiting below]
? Choose one to fix at a time
So, which one among the six should you choose?
I pick the form that occurred the most often.
In the first discussion, I wrote that losses should be rearranged not by their monetary amount but by how many times the same form appeared.
So the form that comes first on top becomes the candidate for this week’s single fix.
A big loss once is very conspicuous.
But what’s being shaved away gradually in the account are the frequent small forms that appear weekly.
✅ This week’s one is chosen from the form that occurred most often in the records.
? Examples of candidates: 【the thin mid-day period / observed in the middle of walls】
? Choose a form that can be confirmed before placing an order
When choosing, there’s one more thing I look at.
Whether it can be confirmed before placing the order.
The reflection that profits are realized early refers to the time you hold the position.
As in the second time, if you decide in advance the single moment to observe while you hold, you can handle it there.
On the other hand, the reflection that you enter in the middle of walls can be confirmed before you press the order button.
If you set it up to be confirmable before you order, it becomes clear by the weekend whether you kept it.
Make it a form you can confirm yourself whether you kept it or not, as this week’s one.
? Leave the moments while you hold it to the second point.
? A single line at the top of the record that you can confirm on screen
The one you choose is written as a single line at the very top of the record.
【If the form is in the form of the upper-timeframe wall and the middle of walls, do not order】
It doesn’t matter whether it’s a notebook or a notes app.
Where you see it first when you open the record is important.
When you write, you write not from your feelings but what can be confirmed on the screen.
Because if you dash in, there’s no chance to confirm before ordering; you’ll be losing restraint.
【Thin mid-day time is not to order until you touch the wall】
【In the first move after a win, don’t change the quantity】
This length is enough to read in a second before ordering.
✅ A one-line that can be read in a second before ordering and shows on screen whether it applies.
? Example of a rewrite: 【Don’t rush】→【Don’t order until you touch the wall】
✔ Read only that one line before ordering
Before pressing the order button, read only this week’s one line.
Don’t look at other reflections.
If it applies, skip that one instance.
If it doesn’t apply, proceed with the usual procedure.
When I was trying to recall six items, my hand paused for seconds before ordering.
With one line, there’s almost no time to hesitate^^
If you can see which wall and where on the price scale it is, this check becomes even shorter.
However, it doesn’t decide by itself whether the display appears. It’s you who judges whether it fits on one line.
Read before ordering is only this week’s one line.
✔ Moves before ordering: 【Read one line / If it fits, skip / If it doesn’t fit, follow the usual steps】
⭕ Weekends decide whether to keep or return that one line
In weekend reflections, you look at only this week’s one line.
You look at two things:
・ Whether you kept that one line before ordering
・Whether the losses in the chosen form decreased in the records
If you kept it and the related losses decreased, you keep that line.
If you kept it but the losses did not change, you return that line and move to the next form in the queue.
The week’s performance is not judged by the total profit/loss alone.
Despite the cost of cutting losses, there are times when the costs are as expected even when you kept the line.
✅ What you look at on weekends is whether you kept the line, more than the total profit and loss.
⭕ Weekend verdict: 【Kept + losses for that form decreased → keep / No change → return and move to the next】
⚠ The part about protecting the account is an exception
Here’s a departure from the previous discussion.
There is one restriction you cannot include in a week.
・Broken the predetermined rule and placed a large margin
・Entered a quantity larger or smaller than usual
・Placed an order without setting a stop loss
This kind of account-protecting discussion will be stopped that day, independent of this week’s one line.
If the same thing happens in the next round, the account may not survive.
I leave the stopping method in one line, in a separate frame from this week’s one line.
【Before ordering, trace the quantity field with your finger to confirm】
The rule to protect the account is halted on the day you discover it.
⚠ Items to place in a separate frame: 【A large breach of the rule / Incorrect quantity / Orders with no stop loss】
? Find it, decide it, fix one by one
I’ll now connect what I’ve written in these three sections.
・Find recurring small losses by counting them
・Decide the single moment to observe while you hold before you enter
・Fix only one per week, in the line before ordering
Decide in advance where to look, and keep it small.
The more places you look, the more you’ll hesitate.
Every hesitation blends your mood into judgment.
Turn the form you found on the first time into this week’s line.
Leave the matter of holding in the second point.
If you connect them this way, reflections from the weekend to Monday’s orders become one straight line!
✅ Decide before entering, keep the focus narrow when looking.
? The flow in three steps: 【Find → Observe while holding → Fix one by one】

? Summary: This week fix one thing, make it the line before ordering
When you have five or six things you want to fix during reflections, you want to put all of them on Monday.
But if you put them all at once, by Wednesday you won’t keep any, and by the weekend you won’t know what worked.
So fix only one per week.
Choose the one that appears most in the records by count, and that can be confirmed before ordering.
Write that one at the top of the records in a phrase that can be checked on screen.
Before ordering, read only that one line, and skip if it applies.
On the weekend, decide to keep or return by looking only at whether you kept that line and whether the losses for that form decreased.
Leave the remaining reflections in the queue.
The account-protecting points such as breaking a rule and missing quantity are outside one line and are handled separately.
Stop them on the day you find them.
This weekend, after you’ve written all the reflection points, please mark one item with the most occurrences and note it^^
Whether you do the pre-order check with your own eyes or use a tool that shows price position is fine.
The GOLD Line Sniper AI assists in checking price position and does not decide whether to enter or whether the one line applies.
✅ The one you mark this weekend becomes the one-line to review before next week’s order.
? Example of next week’s one line: 【If the upper-timeframe wall and the middle of walls, do not order】
