Horizontal axis and decision
First of all, please allow me to apologize.
To grab attention, I intentionally used a strong title.
If I have caused anyone to feel uncomfortable, I am sorry.
However, in this article, I want to deliver what is essential clearly.
I would be grateful if you read until the end.
In the morning, I looked at the chart and decided, “Today it will go up.”
At noon, when I opened the chart, the shape was different from what I expected.
But I had decided that in the morning, so I buy as is.
In the evening, it is moving differently again.
When I open SNS, someone says, “Today it will go down.”
I hesitate, and I end up doing nothing.
If you find yourself repeating this kind of day,
I must tell you some harsh truths.
Relying on one morning decision and ending your situational awareness will not help you keep up with the market.
And situational awareness that shakes because of others’ words is not your own situational awareness.
■ Check if this applies to you
□ You only do situational awareness once in the morning
□ You cling to that morning judgment even if the market differs
□ You feel down when you think your situational awareness was “off”
□ You change your judgment after seeing opinions on SNS or from other traders
If two or more apply to you, what is written in this article is the cause of your confusion.
■ Do your situational awareness every time you open a chart
The market does not stay in the same shape from morning to evening.
The form you saw in the morning will have changed by noon.
The form you saw at noon will have changed by the evening.
Therefore, situational awareness is not once a day,but redone every time you open the chart.
Decide in the morning.
Decide again at noon.
Decide again in the evening.
Clinging to the morning judgment is like
believing only a weather forecast before departure and not using an umbrella when it starts to rain.
■ There is no “miss” in situational awareness
There is one more important thing.
Situational awareness is not about predicting the future.
It is your will: “I will judge this as I look at the current chart.”
So, even if the market does not move in the direction you expected,
that does not mean your situational awareness was “off.”
The situation has changed, so you simply reassess and decide again.
If you decide with your own conviction, that becomes your situational awareness.
■ Do not let others’ words change your judgment
When you open SNS, many people say many things.
“Today up,” “Today down,” “watch this.”
However, you and that person use different methods.
The time frame you watch, entry points, and stop-loss positions differ.
If you mix judgments from people with different methods, your own judgments will become scattered.
You may not even know which judgment you trusted to enter.
No matter what others say, you are you.
Please trust only the judgments you made with your own method and conviction.
So, in practice, when you open the chart, what do you look at, and how do you reassess?
From here, I will carefully explain using actual charts in a video.
