[GOLD Strategy] Why does your trading waver? Two answers to overcome "Piziposi disease" and "unfounded settlements" and to accumulate expectancy
"Even if you try methods said to have high win rates, for some reason your funds are decreasing by the end of the month..."
"Right at the moment you enter, you feel like the price will move against you, and you can't stay calm..."
Are you trading GOLD (gold) and experiencing these frustrating moments?
I will state this unequivocally: the reason you are losing is not because you lack talent or because you are not studying the market enough.
The cause is extremely simple: there is no objective basis for both the entry and exit (settlement).there is no objective basis for both the entry and exit (settlement).
1. The fundamental cause of trade collapse: Lack of evidence due to emotion
Many losing traders unconsciously insert emotion when facing the market.
Entries without evidence (pussyfooting / FOMO)
When the chart suddenly moves, they jump in because they don’t want to be late (FOMO)
They hold a position at a mediocre price in a range because “there’s nothing there”
Exits without evidence (chicken take profits and full reversal)
When there’s a small profit, they exit at a few pips thinking “scared of losing” (chicken take profit)
If the price moves against them, they pray that it will come back and delay止 losses, eventually forced liquidation
Chasing dreamlike profit targets that are too far away, profits become zero or negative (full reversal)
Because there is no objective basis for the entry, after entering they are constantly anxious, wondering “is this right?”, and settlements are driven by fear and greed.
This is no different from gambling; outcomes will inevitably be inconsistent.
2. The only way to survive in the market: not chasing a single win/loss, but pursuing “expectation”
Top professional traders who keep winning do not swing emotionally over whether they can win on the next trade.
What they pursue is the calculation that remains in their hands after repeating the same rules 100 times, 500 times: the expected value.
There are various conditions to stabilize the “expected value” in trading, but I mainly use only three.
Wait thoroughly for the place where large orders exist (eliminate unnecessary losses entirely)
Appropriate risk-reward aligned with GOLD’s volatility (around RR1.5) (secure exit)
A physical brake tailored to the market environment (prevent self-destruction in low volatility/high spreads)
Even if you intellectually understand that “waiting is important” and “follow the rules,” it is extremely difficult for a living human to implement it by themselves.
That is why you need a gear that forcibly makes you wait until the moment to trade and visualizes the calculated exit on the chart.
Here, we present two objective answers aligned with GOLD’s characteristics: a short-term and a mid-term approach.
