Starting EA development from programming beginners
The steps to create with AI and the mindset to turn it into extra income

I love trading. But when I’m working, I can’t look at the charts just when I want to.
The idea to try building an EA came from that frustration. If I could automate my method, maybe I wouldn’t miss chances even while working. That was the start of it.
Actually, before that, I even tried to buy an EA. An amazing-performing EA I’d seen on X, or an EA that had appeared in a YouTube ad a while ago.
But the price felt exorbitant. And I couldn’t tell whether the seller or the product was trustworthy, so I couldn’t judge for myself. I worried, “Is it really okay to pay this much…?” and in the end I didn’t buy it.
“Then maybe I can make my own EA for my method.”
I thought that, but at the time I had zero programming experience. About 5-6 years ago, I first asked a professional to make an EA. The initial EA was a slightly customized version of a method I saw on an information site (using EMA and RSI to enter under certain conditions). However, the creation cost was high, and even a small adjustment incurred an extra charge. I felt I couldn’t try it casually, so I gave up on making an EA once.
A few years later, I encountered GoGoJungle’s “EA Create,” and tried again. I made several EAs, but none of them yielded good profits. Moreover, they couldn’t handle fine settings or create a dashboard-like screen, so I couldn’t reach what I wanted. I also had trouble understanding how to use them, and sometimes the work paused while I waited for replies to my questions.
For me, a major turning point was AI.
Consulting with AI to organize my method and have code written. Getting help with compiling and testing, and thinking about the next adjustments while watching the results. Things that were difficult alone gradually started to move forward.
Of course, having AI doesn’t guarantee a profitable EA. AI can make mistakes, and tests and verifications are essential. Still, for someone who once thought “I can’t do it because I can’t code,” it became a real turning point to keep turning my ideas into reality.
In this article, I’ll introduce the flow of how I consult with AI to create an EA and the environment I actually use. I’ll also discuss how I run the created EA myself and how to think about selling it to earn extra income.
I’ve listed the costs and required work with rough estimates based on my experience. It’s not all good news—time and money are involved, and it’s not guaranteed to sell—so I’ll honestly share that too.
What you’ll understand from this article
- The flow to start making an EA even without programming experience
- How to organize your method and conditions before asking AI to write code
- How to have AI help with compiling and backtesting, and the preparations for that
- Ways to verify so you don’t take AI’s work at face value
- Estimated time and cost for development and operation
- How to run the created EA yourself
- Ways to connect EA sales to extra income
Flow of EA Creation
EA creation is a process of consulting with AI about ideas to organize the conditions, defining specifications, creating code, and repeatedly testing and validating.
In my case, AI is involved not only in writing code but also in compiling, backtesting, and verifying results. I’ll introduce in order how I proceed and what instructions I give to AI in the paid part.
This is for people like this
- People who already have a reasonably developed trading method
- People who love trading and also enjoy organizing and testing their methods
- People who want to turn their method into an EA and consider automated trading or selling
- People who can continue trial and error with AI
Programming experience is not required. I started from zero myself.
People who might not be suited
- People who are not interested in thinking about trading rules or testing
- People who want to make profits in a short period of time
- People who want to use AI-generated code and test results without verifying them
- People who cannot tolerate the possibility of losses in EA operation
- People who think “if I publish it, it will definitely sell”
