【Same EA, But Trading Results Significantly Differed】What did MirrorTrailPro change? | EURUSD Verification on October 15
What did MirrorTrailPro change?

If you are new to MTP, start here. It introduces the Master and Slave mechanism in a comic.

The detailed mechanism isMirrorTrail Pro Part 1 (article) in mangaalso introduced.
What is MirrorTrailPro? First, the mechanism
When operating automated trading EAs, you might think, “We can only trade at the same timing and same price on the copy target.” MirrorTrailPro (MTP) is a copying operation system developed to change that common belief. While receiving orders from the source EA, the copy target waits for favorable prices, and uses AIRA’s market risk assessment to filter ordersand select orders. First, we will organize the five roles that appear.
Original EAtrades,MTP Mastersends that trade information.MTP Slaveuses the received information todetermine copy viability and timing on the Slave account.
A grid-averaging EA adds additional orders after the initial entry if price moves against it, adjusting the average entry price. The first order is counted as the “First Stage,” the next as the “Second Stage,” etc. In this market where these additional orders progressed,MTP waited for some orders and copied others. We focus on that.
On October 15, the source EA added more SELL orders on EURUSD and ultimatelyheld 13 stages and 13 orders. However the copy target MTP Slave, while receiving the same trade information, only filled5 orders. The Master account triggered a stop-loss, while the Slave account captured the subsequent price recovery and booked a profit. Why did the number of orders and results differ? We will examine the reasons in order, from settings to fill history.
Wait for favorable prices, suppress dangerous additional orders, and enter only when necessary.

Actual settings公開|“Stop-loss 100k yen” and MTP control
In Master, the initial setting of the original EA,stop-loss at 100k yenwas deliberately left in. Meanwhile, Slave had stop-loss turned OFF to test how far MTP’s entry selection would function. By combining favorable entries and AIRA copy control, the same trading signals were transformed into a different position configuration.
※The values shown are based on the parameter screen provided for this time. Whether the controls described here actually activated for each order on 10/15 requires separate log verification.
What we want to see here is not just whether “stop-loss OFF is correct.”The fact that the Slave held 5 orders while the Master held 13, due to early favorable entries, RSI-suppression, and NEWS_HOLD, etc., shows the difference. Also, the Slave held positions longer than the Master to capture a recovery. This time it’sthe mechanism of selecting copy targets that manifested as a difference in actual order counts. Note that because both stop-loss existence and entry conditions differ, we cannot attribute all performance differences solely to MTP.

Master and Slave entries compared side by side in time order
The day's main highlight isMaster added up to 13 stages, but Slave only entered 5 times. Even with the “Follow from the first stage” setting, MTP does not jump in if the price is disadvantageous. It waits for favorable price and rebound, and factors RSI and AIRA News Hold when selecting. We compared which orders were executed and which were skipped in chronological order.

※Master stages are organized in order of fill time for the SELL basket. Slave stages are based on the stage notation in the order comments. Fill times and prices between accounts do not match, and effects of entry control and broker differences are included.
Stages 6–8:Detect RSI high and suppress additional SELL chasing. Stage 8 records RSI 84.02. Furthermore, stages 10–11 record a pause in additional orders due to NEWS_HOLD.Having the option to do nothing in volatile markets is a feature of MTP.
After conditions are met, orders for stages 9, 12, and 13 were executed. Instead of stopping everything, the system toggles between waiting and entering. This shows how the timing decisions were made.
What is a favorable entry? Mechanism of activation distance and rebound confirmation
A favorable entry is a function that does not compromise the copy price. For example, with SELL, after the Master sells, if price rises further, the Slave can sell at a higher price. But jumping in during an uptrend is dangerous. Therefore MTPwaits until the activation distance is reached, then confirms a rebound before entering, using a two-stage condition. It’s not about “not copying,” but about “holding the copy until conditions are met.”
The figure is a conceptual diagram for SELL. Even if price moves to a level where it could sell at a higher price than the Master, MTP does not fill immediately. From there, it confirms a certain rebound to harmonize favorable price and timing. Of course, if conditions are not met, it may skip the trade.
Early on, waiting for a favorable entry rebound
In actual 10/15, after Stage 1 met activation conditions, moved to waiting for rebound. In the meantime, Master progressed to Stage 2. Slave did not rush orders and waited for favorable entry price conditions in Stage 2 as well. Thus, the Master’s order count was not forcibly matched by the Slave. This is by design.
Even if you’re following from Stage 1, you don’t place orders unless conditions are met. This is the basic principle of MTP favorable entries. By not mechanically matching the Master’s orders and waiting until conditions are met, the copy target’s position configuration changes.
The decisive difference isn’t only the stop-loss
Master:On 10/15 at 05:54 (MT4 time), 13 orders were closed as a loss. The subsequent rebound could not be captured.
Slave:Maintained 5 positions until 09:39 that day and closed with a total of +9,232 yen.
The value of MTP lies not only in avoiding stop-loss.Indeed, for Master’s 13, the Slave had 5. The difference arises from decisions such as favorable entries, RSI suppression, NEWS_HOLD, etc. At the same time, the Slave held positions longer than the Master to capture recoveries. This time, the result differed based on “when to enter,” “when to wait,” and “when to exit.”However, this is not a pure test where only stop-loss presence differs.
