This week, I report on the confirmed results of Exness's real account and the account status as of the end of the week. The heavy positions I carried up to last week have been neatly cleared, and this week I was able to steadily accumulate profits from start to finish.

【Market this week and GWR's Movements】
This week, AUD/CAD rose from around 0.992 at the start of the week to the 0.995s by Tuesday, and fell below 0.990 on Thursday. On Friday, Canada’s September employment statistics showed a decrease of 68,300, far below the forecast of an increase of 7,000, causing the Canadian dollar to weaken, and it rose to the 0.997s to finish the week. The weekly range was about 80 pips. Excluding Friday’s sharp rise, the price action fluctuated but remained relatively calm.
This week, GWR earned solidly in its strong pattern. Line 0 captured small price moves meticulously, while Lines 1 and 2 rode the rebound from pullbacks. Of 42 closures, 30 were profitable, realized P/L +18,524 JPY, PF 4.69.
On the other hand, during Friday’s rapid rise, new buys entered in the 0.997s, and as it pulled back to the 0.993s at the start of the week, additional buys increased; currently holding 8 buy positions (total 0.41 lot, unrealized loss around 9,000 JPY). However, the used margin is about 180,000 JPY, and the unrealized loss is only about 0.1% of account funds 8,000,000 JPY. The burden on the account is almost none.
【A Late Summer Vacation: Cycling and Campfire】
Since summer, my main job has been busy, but at last I’ve had a quiet period and took a late summer vacation all at once. I loaded a folding bicycle into the car and went out for cycling and solo camping in nature.
While cycling, I could feel the cool autumn breeze. At night I sat by a campfire, listening to the crackling and sipping warm drinks. Without worrying about phone signals or the screen, I could focus on the scenery in front of me, and both my mind and body were completely refreshed.
Seven years ago, when I was absorbed in manual trading, I wouldn’t have imagined taking a weekday off for camping. Just holding positions would make me anxious about “What if it suddenly collapses now?” and I would have watched the 1-minute charts on my phone even inside the tent, wasting the restful holiday. Now that I’ve entrusted market monitoring to EA, I can properly rest from work fatigue.
【Why I Keep Maintenance Margin in the Thousands of Percent】
I think the biggest reason why part-time investors exit is not that they misjudge the market, but that they hold positions too large relative to their capital, leaving themselves no room to maneuver.
GWR keeps the initial lot around 0.04 lot against about 8,000,000 JPY account balance, ensures maintenance margin remains in the thousands of percent, and keeps account relief above 90%. Also, by spacing new entries with a gap of 20.0 pips using CanOpenNewLine, even if the market moves sharply, orders do not cluster in the same price range. If the positions increase to six or more in reverse trades, it switches to Hybrid Emergency Exit mode and closes the total position as soon as there is any small profit.
As long as I trade with my emotions, I cannot escape fatigue and desires. But if I embed safety margins and withdrawal rules into the system from the start, no matter how the market moves, I can devote time to family and hobbies. I will continue to operate calmly without reacting to every market fluctuation.
