[10/12 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]
Good work today! Now, let's do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, a summary of the Tokyo session for today.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 158.40. The pair started around 158.15 in the morning, but during the Tokyo trading session it was a holiday with little liquidity, and it tended to move mildly with a slight yen weakening.
Recently, it seems to be testing the upper end of the recent range around 158.50, but today both New York hours are on holiday, so breaking through the range top seems difficult... Will the European/London participants try to break it with stops after this?
The USD/JPY is likely to hand over to the overseas session with about a 25-pip rise from morning levels.
Now, these are the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping (my personal memo).
● Movement around around the London market open near 16:00
Tonight's "1-minute chart scalping strategy" is difficult to target because the New York market is closed. For users of the "1-minute scalping club," don't push yourselves; after the London market opens, unless there is a substantial move, consider resting.
Also, if you're aiming for shorts with the "15-minute scalping strategy," think of selling when the price is around 158.40–50 or lower, and then chase downward. If the range top is broken, you can be flat-handed.
Also, a recent update:Recently, Mr. Gogojan kindly visited my office from afar and interview about "scalping." I am grateful. I spoke a little, so please take a look when you have time.

Scalping tends to be thought of as having small profit targets and always opportunities available 24 hours, but that's not the case. By aiming for times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 during US daylight time / 17:00 during US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 during US daylight time / 23:00 during US standard time)
Even immediately after US data releases and events, volatility rises and opportunities appear. However, in the minutes right after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to wait for spreads to return to normal before entering a trade.
Always check the US data and event schedule in advance. Knowing the times when opportunities will arise helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning immediately before US data/events. If you go against the trend, it can be disastrous. You can be taken to your loss limit in an instant. Careless mistakes are not allowed, absolutely.
US data and event schedules can be checked on the websites of each brokerage and FX provider.
Of course there are many other points besides these three, but I have described the key points you should at least keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.
