【Write one line before the second time】How to re-enter immediately after being cut by the same wall
Right after being cut by the same wall, didn’t you think, “This time for sure” and go in again? What can you do to avoid being cut again on the second time?
Despite lingering so long on the first, the second time you enter is incredibly quick.
The quantity tends to creep up a little more than the first time without you realizing.
And the second time, you get cut at the same spot on the wall again.
When you review later, the screen when you entered the second time hardly differed from the first time.
Good evening!
I’m Masashi^^
Last time I wrote about not moving a line once you’ve drawn it.
This time, continuing that story, it’s about whether to enter again after being cut at the same place.
Before entering the second time, I check whether I can describe what changed from the first time in one sentence.
If I can write it, it becomes a candidate for a new “one-time” entry. If I can’t, I don’t enter on the second time.
✅ The reason the second time is faster is not because you’ve finished the check, but because you skip the check
I used to re-enter immediately after being cut at the same wall.
On the first try, I looked at the distance to the wall and observed the movement of the lower-timeframe, spending a fair amount of time entering.
But on the second time, I almost skipped that verification.
I felt like it was already done because I had checked it the first time.
The wall location is the same. The shape is similar. I had just checked it a moment ago.
So on the second time, I pressed in not as a verification, but as a continuation from earlier.
And the quantity had increased a bit.
The urge to recover the loss showed up in the quantity field (;'∀')
✅ The second time is fast not because you finished the check, but because you skipped it.
? Record at the time: 【Second time is faster than the first / Quantity is more than the first / Cut at the same spot】
? Since loss cutting is within expectations, don’t ban the second time
Some people decide as a rule that you won’t enter again at the same spot.
I understand. I did that for a while too.
But now I don’t strictly prohibit the second time itself.
The first loss was a cost you knew you’d pay when you decided to enter at the wall.
It was cut at the expected location and width, as planned.
That isn’t a failure; it’s an expected payment that happened once.
Even after paying, that wall isn’t unusable.
Rather, you can say you once saw how that wall would react on the first entry.
✅ The issue isn’t entering the second time, but entering for the same reason as the first time
? Positioning of the loss: 【Cost you knew you’d pay at the moment you decided to enter the wall】
? Is there any new fact inside ‘this time for sure’
When you want to enter the second time, what’s in your head is usually“This time for sure”feelings.
I’ll open it once and peek inside this feeling.
・Last time was just too early
・The wall should still be effective
・Because it came back, this time I’ll stop
All of these are almost the same reasons as when you first entered.
On the first time, too, you entered thinking the wall should be effective, and you were cut there.
If you read this aloud, you might hear this voice:
“No, so you’re saying you can’t enter the same spot again?”
That’s not true.
If you find even one new fact, it becomes a new second time, not the second time.
✅ What’s inside “this time for sure” is usually the same reading as the first time, plus the desire to recover what was lost.
? Content check: 【If the same words as the first time come up, there are no new facts yet】
? You can only write the facts that increased on the screen in one line
Before entering the second time, I write in one line what changed compared to the first time.
What I write here is not feelings or interpretations, but differences visible on the screen.
・There’s a trace where it touched the wall once and stopped
・The momentum of the lower timeframe turned in the opposite direction from the first time
・With time, the place where price sits shifted
The first change is a trace that didn’t exist the first time. The fact that it stopped at the wall has newly appeared on the screen.
The second change is that, while the first time you entered with strong momentum toward the wall, this time momentum dies before the wall, which is a difference.
Conversely, you can’t write “It seems to stop more this time” or “This time it should be okay” yet.
That isn’t a change you want; that’s something you want to change.
It’s a bit like returning to the same intersection after taking a wrong turn.
If the signboard and the traffic light are the same as before, turning the same corner will lead you to the same place.
✅ You should only enter based on the new facts that appeared on the screen; do not include your feelings in the line.
? Examples of a line you can’t write: 【Seems to stop more than before/This time seems okay】
? The three lines to write before the second time
What you do is extremely simple.
Before opening the order screen, write these three things in order.
・Reason you entered the first time
・What changed in the second time
・Enter or pass
In my notebook, this is usually the order.
【First time: entered mid-approach toward the wall / Second time: a trace of stopping at the wall / Enter】
【First time: entered just before the wall / Second time: nothing changed. just returned to the same shape / Pass】
The second line is actually quite common, lol
When you write it, you realize that you were about to enter even though nothing changed.
There are also tools that make the wall’s location visible on screen.
If there’s a display, the work of comparing the wall’s position between first and second times becomes shorter.
However, the tools do not make judgments for you. You must decide to enter or pass yourself.
✅ The three lines to decide the second time: the first time’s reason, what changed, and enter or pass. This decides the second time.
? Format: 【First time: … / What changed on the second time: … / Enter or Pass】
⚠ When you can’t write, repeat the same judgment
If you enter without being able to write what changed, what happens?
Actually, you end up entering in the same place for the same reason as the first time, with the same shape.
You’re reusing the reason you didn’t pass on the first time, with no change in the screen.
This isn’t a second attempt as much as repeating the same judgment again.
Moreover, the second time often has less verification and a larger quantity.
You end up entering a second time with conditions that are worse than the first time, and larger in amount.
No, it’s less that the conditions are worse, more that you’re not looking at the conditions properly on that first time.
If you can’t write it, you wait at the moment until the changed facts appear on the screen rather than entering.
While waiting, there can be a stopping trace, or you may just slip through as is.
✅ While you can’t write one line, it’s okay to maintain the decision not to enter.
⚠ Record of passing: 【Changed facts: none / Immediately returned after cut / Pass】
? Sometimes the second time has clearer conditions
I’ll break the rules here a bit.
Sometimes the second time has clearer conditions than the first time.
When entering the first time, I only saw a band indicating where the wall should be, nothing more.
But on the first time, the price touched the wall, stopped at a point, then pulled back and came back again.
From this point, you know more specifically where the wall worked than you did on the first time.
The loss you paid on the first time became a hint to confirm the wall’s position.
This is not a make-good second time.
It’s a new first time, using information you didn’t have on the first time.
I stopped prohibiting the second time because I’ve seen this form several times.
✅ The first-time loss can become material for the second time.
? The one-line for this case: 【Found the wall’s effective position on the first time / Can place loss cut based on that position】
? What would you do if you are cut twice at the same spot?
“What would you do if you’re cut twice at the same spot?”I’m often asked this.
In my case, if I’m cut twice on the same wall, I move away from that wall for the day.
The second time should have written one line describing what changed when I entered.
If I’m still cut, the line I wrote did not pass.
Starting to look for a third one now makes each line increasingly hard to justify.
The line that comes after a stop that didn’t pass tends to lean toward what I wish would change.
So I treat that wall where I was cut twice as something to just observe for that day.
Next entry will be at a different place, where a line can be written from the start.
✅ For walls cut twice, just observe them for the day.
? Three lines that tend to appear on the third try: 【Seems to stop lower than before】
? The second-time quantity is determined the same way as the first time
Even when you can write a line and enter for the second time, there’s something to watch for.
The quantity.
The second-time quantity is decided in the same way as the first time. Do not add the recovered amount.
The first loss is a cost you’ve already paid.
If you try to recover it with the second-time quantity, the second time becomes not a new first time, but a continuation of the first.
When in doubt, ask yourself: if you were entering this wall for the first time today, would you set this quantity?
In other words, if you think, “If it’s the first time, I wouldn’t use this quantity,” then that is the amount you’re attempting to recover.
This question was as effective as writing one line.
Just adjusting the quantity changes the weight of the second-time cut dramatically!
✅ The second-time quantity is determined using the same method as when you first enter.
? Check of quantity: 【If you’re entering for the first time today, would you use this quantity?】
✔ Line up to reveal the second-time habit
If you keep the first-time and second-time lines, your habits become visible when you lay them out over a weekend.
For me, the days I wrote in the “changes” column labeled as 【None】 turned out to be far more numerous than I expected.【None】Days I wrote 【None】 and still entered, were usually when the first loss hadn’t elapsed much time ago.
Immediately after being cut, writing lines is the hardest.
Conversely, the second-time lines you write and enter still allow you to move to the next scene after a cut.
When you review the day you were cut is also important, so I’ll write about that another time.
✅ Line up the second-time line to reveal your re-entry habit.
✔ Weekend view: separate lines for 【entered the second time with writing one line/entered the second time without writing】
? GOLD antidote has a feature article^^
If you want to organize from the basics, check the content and its limits.
? Summary: Write a new first-time line before entering the second time
After being cut once by the same wall and prices returning, you’ll want to re-enter again.
That second time tends to be faster than the first and larger than the first.
Loss cutting is an expected cost, so there is no need to ban the second time itself.
However, before entering, write in one line what changed from the first time.
The stopped trace, the direction of momentum changing, the place shifting.
If you can’t write the visible differences, you’ll just repeat the same judgment and you’ll pass.
If you can write them, enter as a new first-time using the same method of quantity as the first time.
Walls cut twice that day should be treated as observation only for that day.
Searching for the wall’s location each time and comparing first and second positions is laborious until you’re used to it.
The Gold Line Sniper AI does not decide whether to enter for the second time for you.
Please confirm the display contents and limits as a tool to check wall positions^^
Writing one line and the final decision are made by you.
For the next second time, write three lines before opening the order screen and decide.
? End of records: 【Reason for the first time / What changed on the second time / Enter or Pass】
