The easiest way to receive sign notifications on your smartphone: Push notifications for MT4/MT5
I am Yohaku, creating MT4/MT5 indicators and handy tools. What I make is decided from the complaints that appear in Gogople reviews and questions.
Among them, the most common request is “I want to receive signals on my smartphone.” When I read the top 479 reviews and questions on October 7, 2026, there were 124 voices about notifications, among which 35 requested smartphone notifications, the largest number. LINE Notify ended in March 2025, and many people may review their notification methods. This time, I will整理 the easiest way to receive on your smartphone.
First, the conclusion
- LINE Notify ended its service on LINE in March 2025. To send to LINE, a different mechanism (Messaging API) is required.
- If you only want to receive on your smartphone, MT4/MT5 app push notifications are free and the easiest to set up. Just enter one MetaQuotes ID into the MT on PC.
- A method to send to external services like Discord (WebRequest) can be used only from EA and scripts, and registering the destination URL is also required.
What changed after LINE Notify ended
Until now, there were many articles and tools that sent signals to LINE. Many of them used the LINE Notify mechanism. This ended on LINE in March 2025.
If you want to send to LINE, you need to switch to another mechanism (Messaging API). The free usage range and setup effort depend on the terms set by the service provider. For beginners, this is somewhat heavy.
If the goal is simply to be alerted on your smartphone, there is a much easier method that does not require LINE.
Three main destinations for notifications
Notifications from MT4/MT5 can be sent to three general destinations.
- Push notifications from the MT4/MT5 app (smartphone)
- External services like Discord (send via WebRequest)
- PC alert sound / pop-up (for when you are in front of the PC)
Among these, the one that can wake you up even when you are out and about, with the lightest setup, is the first option—push notifications.
Why push notifications are the simplest
There are three reasons.
First, they are free to use. It is a mechanism provided by MetaQuotes (the company that makes MT4/MT5), with no extra contracts required.
Second, there are few things to install. You only need to enter one number, the MetaQuotes ID displayed in the smartphone app, into the MT on PC to enable it.
Third, they can be used from indicators as well. WebRequests to send to external services like Discord can only be called from EA and scripts (not from indicators). In addition, registering the destination URL in a whitelist is required. Push notifications do not have such external sending restrictions.
