New Billionaire Trader Scalping: Volume Plus
FX Trading Not Typical: Long and Short Positions
If you take this approach, your mind will be clear about the turning points I write about daily in Investment Navigator and you can focus on trading.
Hello everyone.
The USD/JPY price range in Tokyo time up to now is about 80 pips.
Quite active, isn’t it?
Last weekend there was the US employment statistics release, but despite the figures diverging, the movement wasn’t significant.
Forex can be narrowed down to just policy rates as well.
Today I’d like to write about the trading strategy for after you return home tonight.
USD/JPY 1-hour chart
I’ll list a few points I consider important.
・Whether it breaks the Tokyo high/low marked in red/blue, or whether it trades within that range
・Don’t jump into the yellow □ zone; wait for a decisive move in one direction, then use it as a pullback or retracement
・If Tokyo high/low is broken upward, consider positions starting from the red horizontal line; if broken downward, from the blue □ price
I don’t take a move that far; I think about what to do after reaching that point, but the basic stance is to take positions inward
However, downward is deep, so be mindful of the possibility up to 15692
・Ranges between Tokyo high and low are possible, so when taking positions inward, try to draw as much as possible toward the inside; the first position should be about 50%, and if it breaks, add another 50% as a average-down (nampin)
・Prices where resistance may become support? 15820
Prices where support may become resistance? 15750
I’d like to observe the 1-minute "billionaire trader" line for buy/sell switching before deciding.
In general, I think like this.
Whether it hits or not is another matter; I prepare for “possibility” and “scenarios” in my mind as a framework.
Now, today's top news“Labor shortage bankruptcies at a record high in the first half”
was reported.
Japan’s current bubble is even more bubbly than the bubbles I knew in the early Heisei era, and the way people make money is different from back then.
Anyway, both individuals and companies are making money like crazy.
So why are labor shortage bankruptcies at a historic high?
It’s odd, but from October 1 minimum wage rose, small and medium businesses’ sales did not rise and actually fell, while labor costs continue to increase.
Well, this may be one factor as well.
But apparently there is a labor shortage.
That leads to bankruptcies.
Are there so few workers?
Hello Work centers are crowded with middle-aged people, many do dual jobs, and those people move between better-positioned jobs.
And yet labor shortage bankruptcies
I’m not thinking about this issue seriously, so it’s perplexing why?
It’s just unclear to me.
However, wage gaps between large corporations and small/mid-sized firms seem to be widening.
Annual income for a 30-year-old employee at a small/mid company: 3.5–4 million yen (take-home about 3 million)
Annual income for a 30-year-old at a major listed company, a senior in a leading company in Japan: about 8 million yen
Big companies roughly pay about twice as much, while small/mid take-home around 3 million yen with monthly take-home about 250,000 yen.
Get married, have kids, buy a new house with remaining mortgage, and so on with monthly 250,000 yen
Young people in rural areas may live like this, but can this lifestyle sustain?
From a parental generation’s viewpoint, marriage is a consideration even before it can be achieved.
Is there a solution to this?
Work as a full-time employee during the day, and at night work about 4 hours at 1,700 yen per hour, adding about 60,000 yen per month from part-time jobs.
Even with the main job, take-home would be about 300,000 yen.
Will that be enough or not? I think not.
If living at home, there might be no problem.
Lately, the content of people making money is
① Investment
② Real estate
③ Web platform businesses
Mostly these three.
② and ③ include buyouts, including resale.
Well, all of them have high hurdles including capital, so for us with small capital, investing or speculating might be the quickest options.
Anyway, it’s an era where money is scarce.
It’s natural to earn your own money, but probably the only options are investing or speculating.
With leverage, a big windfall isn’t a dream, but that aside,
ultimately, it seems faster to seriously pursue becoming successful in FX.
Currently, the FX environment is, to be blunt, good.
Maybe I’m the only one who thinks so, but I feel that not choosing FX as a path may raise life risks in the future.
Thank you for your continued support today as well.
